Highly recommend - half day tour of Cartagena!
Enrique, our tour guide, met us in the old city of Cartagena. The tour was fully planned, well organized and spoken fluently in English. A local historian Francisco Rivera was hired, a car was arranged and free water was provided. We visited the Convent of Santa Cruz, San Felipe de Barajas Fort and finished with a walk through the old city of Cartagena. Francisco provided current and historical details of Cartagena and shared visual aids. It was a great way to learn about the rich history and learn about the local culture. I recommend planning ahead for the 4 hour tour in the hot and sunny city by wearing comfortable light weight clothes, walking shoes, and sunglasses.
