The one day tour on the river is a complete tour of the main tourist attractions in Rio de Janeiro.

We have prepared the itinerary for you to get to know the "Marvelous City" in the best possible way. A day dedicated to visiting Christ the Redeemer, Maracanã (outdoor area), Sambadrome, São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro Cathedral, Escadaria Selarón and Sugarloaf Mountain. All this with tickets and lunch in a pleasant free buffet restaurant.

1. Corcovado - Christ the Redeemer
Go up by van to the top of Corcovado, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located, passing through the Tijuca Forest. From the top of Corcovado Hill, you will be able to admire the statue of Christ the Redeemer, 38 m high and made of reinforced concrete coated in a mosaic of thousands of triangular soapstone tablets, and you will also have the opportunity to appreciate some of the most beautiful views of the city.
2. Pao De Acucar
Ride the cable car up into the mountains for stunning views of the city and coast. Cable car ride in two parts, the first to Morro da Urca and the second to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. Visiting Pão de Açúcar, Rio de Janeiro, is to see up close one of the main postcards of the Marvelous City and of Brazil, which offers a privileged 360 degree view of the famous Guanabara Bay.
3. Maracana
External visit with stop in front of the Bellini statue. The tour begins with a visit to the Maracanã stadium (outside only), where we will stop to take photos at the statue of Bellini, a famous captain who led the Brazilian football team to win the 1958 World Cup. Entrance not included.
4. The Metropolitan Cathedral of Saint Sebastian
The Metropolitan Cathedral of São Sebastião do Rio de Janeiro and the new Cathedral or main church of the City. It was inaugurated in 1976, when it replaced the Igreja do Carmo or the old Cathedral in Praça XV de Novembro. Photo stop and inside tour
5. Sambodromo da Marques de Sapucai
We will go to the Sambódromo, the site of the main Carnival parade in the city. We'll stop to take some photos and try on the famous samba school costumes used during Carnival.
6. Escadaria Selaron
We will visit the Escadaria Selarón, a colorfully tiled staircase, the work of Chilean self-taught artist Jorge Selarón. Having traveled the world, Selarón moved to Rio in 1983, in a small house right in front of the deserted staircase that connected the areas of Lapa and Santa Teresa. 215 steps that were covered with tiles collected in urban areas of Rio or donated by visitors from all over the world. Since 1990, Selarón has collected more than 2,000 pieces, mostly red: unique pieces that represent a "tribute to the Brazilian people".
7. Carioca Aqueduct
The Carioca Aqueduct is located downtown, in the Lapa neighborhood, and is often called Arcos da Lapa by Brazilians. Since the end of the 19th century, the aqueduct has served as a bridge for the popular tram that connects the city center to the Santa Teresa neighborhood, the Santa Teresa tram
8. Floresta da Tijuca
Pass through the Tijuca Forest on the way to Christ the Redeemer. Tijuca Forest is a tropical forest in the city of Rio de Janeiro, covering an area of approximately 32 km². The tour will reach Tijuca Forest with a stop at Paineiras to board official National Park Authority vehicles, to reach the top of Corcovado Hill, where the Christ the Redeemer statue is located.

The days have been cloudy and rainy in Rio de Janeiro, the agency advised us on what day to take the city tour and so we were able to enjoy an excellent day and wonderful landscapes!!

It was a fantastic excursion!! Chris (guide) was very friendly and so was Luisinho (driver). Lunch was delicious and we visited all the essential places without standing in long queues. I highly recommend it

A full day that met our expectations. Carlos speaks about his region with passion and great knowledge. We sometimes would have taken more time in certain places but the day passed at a good pace. I recommend this activity to get to know the main points of the city!

The City Tour in Rio de Janeiro was a captivating experience, largely thanks to our guide, "Mini Guia" Roberto. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and friendly demeanor added an extra layer of enjoyment to the journey. Roberto's anecdotes and insights about the city's landmarks, such as Christ The Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the iconic Celaron Steps, truly enhanced the tour.

However, a slight drawback was the timing. I felt that if we had started the tour a bit earlier, it would have allowed for a more leisurely exploration of the main attractions. Spending an additional 10 minutes at each landmark, especially the aforementioned iconic spots, would have been ideal. The desire for more time at these key locations stems from their significance and the wish to absorb the breathtaking views and cultural richness they offer fully.

Despite this minor concern, the overall experience deserves a commendable 4/5 rating. The beauty of Rio de Janeiro and its landmarks is undeniable, and the tour provided valuable insights into the city's history and culture. Roberto, however, goes above and beyond. His passion for the city and commitment to making the tour memorable exceeded expectations, earning him a stellar 6/5 rating. His personal touch transformed the tour into an unforgettable adventure. The food? 3/5. Overcrowded buffet… at the end of a very long 8 hr day. We are lunch at 2:30p while we started the day at 07:30! Thanks.

honestly the tour was amazing ,my daughter and I are really happy on how it was well organised and ran very smoothly, it was a shame that we couldn’t go to seleron stairs but I can understand why, being in the middle of carnival season. It was so beautiful we took a lot of pics the food was good the Christ redeemer was the best for me Sugarloaf and the awesome stairs let's not forget the carnival it was so beautiful also the beaches were nice let's not forget the the most popular drinkCaipirinha
