Patrick and Derek were great hosts. We made a delicious Irish coffee and learned how easy it is to create this drink. Afterwards we got a lot of information about whiskey and also a bit about Irland. The experience was definitely a lot better than our tour at the whiskey museum. We highly recommend it!

So, I decided to do an Irish coffee class in Dublin, and what fun. The host Patrick was an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly host. The whiskey bar itself upstairs at the palace bar was a gorgeous example of a victorian bar. Patrick gave us the history of Irish coffee's origin and demystified the difficulty in it's making. There were lots of facts, fun, and give and take between our host and the participants. In the end, we had an incredibly delicious Irish coffee and a few more samples of whiskey too. I would definitely recommend.

Patrick was an exceptional host and lecturer at the Dublin Guided Irish Coffee Masterclass with Whiskey Tasting, sharing fascinating insights into the history of Irish coffee, its simplest preparation methode, and of course, the nuances of whiskeys. The venue had a unique charm and fantastic atmosphere, and the entire event was much more intimate and engaging compared to the more commercialized mass-produced tours.

One of my favorite experiences in Dublin. The Palace Bar is lovely and so historic...in the same family for 200 years! We were taking upstairs to a smaller bar for an intimate, unique warm cocktail mixing class. Our master cocktail mixer was extremely knowledgeable and full of tidbits of information that taught us about whiskey-making history in Ireland. This we did on our first day when we arrived into Ireland and it really helped us slide right into the Irish vibe and made us feel welcomed. A great way to start your visit in Ireland.

My friend and I had an absolute blast at the the Irish Coffee Masterclass & Whiskey Tasting. Derek was so fun, knowledgeable, and passionate about Irish whiskey. I am not much of a whiskey drinker but had so much fun learning about the history of Irish whiskey and trying some top notch spirits. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Dublin!
