Intrepid Museum's largest temporary exhibition is now open March 26-September 2, 2024: "Apollo: When We Went to the Moon". This special exhibit unpacks the history of the Apollo program and sets the stage for NASA’s current Moon to Mars campaign. Featuring dozens of rarely-seen artifacts from the U.S. Space & Rocket Center with additions from the Museum’s own collection. Immerse yourself in this out-of-this-world exhibition, complete with awesome interactive experiences like seeing your own footprints on the moon!

Great and worth a visit. Lots to see and do. Was beautiful in the sunshine on the Hudson saw the top gun plane too and some replica space craft. Little ones would love it!

I love the historic planes and helicopters, the movie, and walking through the intrepid. I could have stayed much longer. This was an enlightening experience.

The vessel was huge, lots to see. Was a mesmerizing experience. You will be directed to the different stations of the vessel where you will see different styles of aircrafts. You must go the submarine. Great experience!

Great experience of a US aircraft carrier. Great collection of historic planes, a space shuttle and submarine. Try the tour it’s a few dollars but worth it.

My boyfriend was in heaven getting on the submarine, one of a kind experience…we were in awe meeting a few real life Veterans which made it amazing for both of us….and my boyfriend had a blast viewing all the planes. A day well spent!

It was a very unique experience to be able to walk around an actual war ship and submarine. It was very informative and educational. I really liked that they had actual retired military personal on the ship explaining things and answering questions. There were so many installations that one could climb on to and get a feel of. It's such a great way to learn history.!

Impressive, well organized, full of interesting facts. We spent hours walking and admiring exhibits. Personally I was positively surprised to see veterans as experts at almost each floor, including deck with planes! Highly recommend

This was a great place to go. Very interesting getting to see inside the submarine and ship. The children loved the flight simulator and VR experience.
