Enjoy this Petra transportation from Aqaba. You will be picked up from your hotel to start your Petra Transport. After that, you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle for about 2 hours to the rose-red city of Petra. First started in the 6th century B.C. by Nabataean Arabs the city boasts beautiful facades carved directly into the walls of the mountainsides. Arriving at the visitor’s center it’s a 700-meter walk to the Siq entrance which is an impressive 1200 meter long gorge of a kaleidoscope of colors the towers more than 80 meters above you. As you exit the chasm you’re instantly transfixed by the beauty of Petra, chosen as one of the New World Wonders, the place speaks for itself. After your time at Petra, you make your way back through the Siq and head to the car witch will be waiting for you at the entrance parking. Finally, you will be driven back to your hotel in Aqaba.

Entrance to avoid too much tourists. Book car with moon tours and ask for Rami. He was really nice and considerate.

Friendly and informative
Really enjoyed the trip. First-class service collected us at our hotel in Aqaba and took us up to Petra and back again. Bonus stop on the way there with a phenomenal view over Jordan.

Beautiful natural backdrops. Sights carved into the rocks. Long journey on a stony road, suitable sturdy shoes. Option to go on a horse, donkey or golf cart for 20 euros per person. There is also a free museum at the entrance.

Private tour to Petra on 10.04.2023
We had a perfekt driver to Petra, who was waiting for us, when we left the ship Splendida (MSC)at 9:30. Rami speaks very good English and told us interessant things about the country. He drives very safe and comfortable. We were 2 adults (Mother, 86 and daughter) He helped us with tickets and was standby for any questions/problems. Thanks so much!!
