From the moment of arrival the level of organization was apparent. They watched over every detail ensuring the groups and balloon assignments were precise. This is done to ensure the correct weight of the travelers matches the balloon and basket size. The experience was breathtaking. I was especially impressed with our captain and his ability to navigate the balloon. Thank you Bill Harrods for an experience that I will remember forever.

I grew up watching this on tv and to get to experience it with my husband was amazing. They are the best hot air balloon in SA by far. They have no competition. Watching the sunrise while flying away was such an unforgettable experience. The staff is very friendly and the pilot makes everyone comfortable before take off. The huge breakfast when you land and the certificates you receive just makes everything such a beautiful experience. Will highly recommend it

This was a trip taken to celebrate the wedding anniversary of my parents. The flight itself was spectacular. Nothing really reveals the beauty of the South African landscape than seeing it from a balloon.
The staff were very professional and helpful, as well as good humoured. The trip itself was on time and quite an experience for our first time in a hot air balloon. Furthermore, the breakfast provided after the trip was top notch, with good quality options and a diverse array of both savory and sweet offerings.

This was my 2nd balloon ride with Bill Harrop’s. And yes the 2nd flight was as memorable as the first. A truly breathtaking experience. Extremely peaceful up there. Our pilot, Flip was very friendly, accommodating and full of information. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The breakfast was also excellent in every possible way. Well done to everyone at Bill Harrops.
