This is a historical place and having a guide is a must, plus you skip the long lines, which will save you a lot of time!

This was a great tour and a lot to see I have nothing to say about the sightseeing since it was incredible! It had a lot of history and a lot to see however group was relatively 27-30 people. Which made it hard to travel through the alcazar with a lot of other groups.

I tend to hate ‘tours’ as it always feels like I cannot explore the place for myself. As our guide said ‘it’s not a tour, it’s an experience’. Right amount of cheesy to provide humour and lighthearted feel. The tour was informative, pace didn’t feel like something was dragging to say necessary info or fast enough and feeling like you cannot take pictures. You can hear tidbits and information beyond what you’ll read in a guide book - in an imaginative way. I’d be happy to go on another tour and see if other guides will be as good (I don’t remember the name of our leader but he was fab).

No stars really…..Absolute shocker. Had confirmed tour time of 2:30, had a call from tour operator(Oway ) at 1:05 asking where we’re we? Told him no where near and it was for 2:30 anyway, he said he had 1:00 booked. And would have to take it up with Viator. Went for 230 meet anyway , no one there. Viator have got back to me and said can’t refund me but here’s £25 against your next experience with us(!) as oway had already bought the tickets….not heard the last…

We are so glad that we did this tour. Carmen our guide was fabulous providing us with a great overview of all the key elements of the site. Alcazar itself was truly breathtaking and we loved every minute spent there. Well worth it!
