Museo de la Memoria is a museum located in Santiago, Chile, dedicated to commemorate the victims of human rights violations during the civic-military regime led by Augusto Pinochet between 1973 and 1990. It was inaugurated by former President Michelle Bachelet on January 11, 2010, which formed part of government works celebrating the bicentennial of Chile.

The tour never happened. The guide never showed up. When our hotel concierge finally reached the tour operator, they determined there had been a “double booking” and there was no guide for us. Only positive is that we got a refund.
