Andrew's excellent knowledge of the food and Hungarian culture made this a superb tour. He stopped at various stalls for us to savour traditional food, and paid particular note to the ingredients as I am vegan. Thank you Andrew ❤

The host Andrew was very friendly and quite patient as we arrived about 20 minutes late for the tour. That being said there is absolutely no way this was worth $58 per person. We literally only walked around the indoor market and only tried 3 or 4 items. We have traveled extensively and always do a food tour and I must admit this was the most disappointing of them all. I definitely would not recommed this as a food tour to anyone. Save your money and go to the market on your own and try all the food you want.

Andrew, the tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure listening to him and exchanging questions & answers.
The tour itself was good although it would’ve been nice to explore establishments outside of it. I realize that that is not the nature of this tour.

We booked our tour online, my wife initial thoughts were that it was a bit expensive.
However we met Andrew, our tour guide outside the front of the beautiful market building.
He made us feel very welcome, the tour he gave us was simply brilliant.
He introduced us to Hungarian food, and we got to try a number of delicious dishes.
I can't fully put into words how good the tour was. It's hard to single out a single item of food as it was all excellent.
Andrew was great very knowledgeable about the market, what was on offer and what to buy where. It's important to note there was no pressure to buy anything.
This was definitely a highlight of our four days in Budapest. Thank you so much Andrew.

We took the 2-hour tour of the Great Market Hall with Agnes. It was a great culinary experience. Agnes introduced use to several dishes -- some of the best food we had in Budapest. I learned so much for her and it was one of the highlights of the trip. We could have wandered the market without a guide, but Agnes gave us insights into what we were eating that we couldn't have gotten on our own.

This tour was fantastic. Andrew, who led the tour, told us so much about the market and the food we were given to try as well as telling us about Hungarian traditions. We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in typical Hungarian food who wants to know more. Well worth the money, an experience not to be missed.
