When searching for a slower-paced, personal-type tour, we found just what we were looking for with Bob Marcus Tours. Bob is well-spoken, entertaining and is skilled in eye contact, body language and voice inflection. He is a living encyclopedia of Saint Petersburg historical facts, names, places, and dates. He loves Saint Petersburg and is so excited about his business and presentation that we were hyper-focused to retain it all. Three-plus hours encompassing the entirety of Saint Petersburg and its many highlights, with not a minute wasted. In his final “goodbye” Bob gave us “The Florida Information Guide” – a magazine packed with interesting facts, figures and photos that is a must-share with your friends and family. When we stepped in to Bob’s root beer-colored van, he could confidently have said: “I’ve got this; just sit back, relax, look, listen and enjoy the show!”

Bob was a true pro. He knew St. Pete inside and out. Lots of fun and very informative. His van was clean and comfortable. We could stop any time or just ride.

Bob is an amazing, fun, knowledgeable tour guide. We learned alot about the area. I have been coming to the St Pete area to visit my family for 30+ years, but never thought to take a tour to learn about the history. We took the South tour. Will definitely take the North tour during our next visit. Highly recommend this experience.

Bob provides a one of a kind tour and gave lots of information regarding St Pete. He was also able to cater to what we wanted to see and do for the tour. We totally enjoyed the experience and the ride around St Pete. He also recommended one of the best dinner we ever had here in the states!

Bob's tour of St. Petersburg & surrounding area was above & beyond the expected. Included fun stories told with flair combined with history, architecture, neighborhoods, & even a fort!! Got out of his van at Don Caesar Hotel &Fort Desoto. Opportunity to have a snack. Simply a fun informative tour.

Bobs knowledge of St Pete’s history and culture is unmatched. You’ll see the highlights and all the major POIs you’ll also get off the beaten path and hear some stories you won’t get from anyone else. I’d recommend Bobs tours on a hazy day a sunny day and everything in between.

This tour was fun, entertaining and very informative. I love that you can customize it and decide how long you want it to last. Bob was very accommodating and flexible to fit our schedule. I like that he has a speaker so you can hear him clearly in the back seat! I would definitely tour with him again and highly recommend him. We learned a lot too!
