This tour is one of the special tours in Jordan, starting with the beautiful city of Amman, the Roman amphitheatre where it is in the middle of the capital Amman, the castle of Amman, as well as a small tour in the old markets of Amman. Then we head east to the most beautiful thing that the Umayyads built, al Kharana Palace, Amra Palace and finally the black castle( Al-azraq Castle)

The trips has been amazing with Safwat as a rider, really comfortable and adapting to my rythm. He took me to a bunch of places I didn’t know that wasn’t scheduled but it was really worth it. I recommend him 100%.

My son and I had a great day with Safwat. He picked us up from our hotel and took us on a tour of desert castles, to the citadel and around downtown Amman. Biggest highlight was the amazing foods we tried. Safwat went above and beyond!

On my first day with this company, "Fox" took me to Petra. I was so happy with his guidance that I specifically requested his services for the second day.
So let me repeat why, if going with Alamal, should specifically request Mahmoud "Fox"
1) He is *on time*
2) Gives you *great guidance* (overview, where to hire a guide and where not to)
3) Gives you a perfect estimate on how much time you will need at the site, and how much time will be spent in traffic
4) Tells you specifically where the ticket office is and what documents you will need
5) Tells you where the tourist traps are
But for me, I was treated like a member of his family, not just a tourist
1) I was suffering from a cold; he volunteered some medicine, and took me to a great pharmacy
2) Bought me water and lunch (out of his own pocket)
3) When I ran out of connectivity, he offered me his hotspot
We are friends now, and will remain in touch as such
I couldn't recommend him enough

We did this tour on our last day to Jordan and it was very nice! The castles are not far from Amman, which is ideal if you have a flight to catch.
As always, our driver Khalil was the highlight of the trip. He took us out for lunch, asked us if we needed anything during the trip and was very helpful and always on time.

Our driver was Abdo. He was súper ponctual, arriving twenty minutes before the starting hour. He drived as to every place very well and offered us cold water and juice. He explained us lots of info about Jordan culture. The visit to dessert castles and Amman was worthwile because of him. My mum and me really recommend #Abdo for doing such tour. We had a truly great experience discovering the eastern desert castles as well as the Amman citadel and Roman amphitheater. Our driver Abdo was excellent, knowledgeable and personable, and he went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. He was also a genuinely nice person. Much recommended.

Great way to see more of the fascinating history and archaeology in Jordan. Our driver was very helpful and accommodating! He was friendly and gave great suggestions. We left at 10 and ended back in Amman at 4.

This was a really interesting day with lots of variety. Heading into the desert early in the day, you get to see three very different castles/forts and get a feeling for the vastness of the desert. We had a wonderful driver, Abdo, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We loved his laidback vibe and asked for him the next day as well.
Abdo made sure we had lots of water for the trip, had us setup with a wifi hotspot and made sure we knew what to expect from the local guides at each site. He would give us the wifi to take with us to busy sites so we could coordinate with him via WhatsApp, which gave us a lot of confidence when we were touring around busy areas with lots of people on our first day. It’s good to get in contact with your guide through the company the day before, as it’s advisable to leave early in the morning to void the rush hour traffic. It’s easiest via WhatsApp, and it’s also good to allow the app to access your camera so you can show him where you are at the end of visiting a site by sending him a photo of where you are standing.
This was a good tour for our first day in Amman since it gave us a bit of orientation in the city as well as the desert castles. Abdo was really flexible and tailored the Amman tour to what we wanted to see. He would have been happy to show us even more but we were jetlagged and had to rest. Really recommend using Alamal and would happily book with them again (and ask for Abdo!) if we were are lucky enough to make it back to the area.
