I’m not sure where to start. First I would like to say I do not usually leave reviews that negatively impacts a company, but I do think this was necessary. When we got on the boat, we were given the rules and everything was going great. They started us off with rum. Once the boat started moving my friend and I were very excited to be there, so we asked for a shot. This was only 1 shot and we were told by a staff member that we need to “maintain” ourselves. I asked her what she means by the comment. She stated that their last visitors got really drunk on the way back and threw up on the boat. I’m unsure as to why she was sharing this with us. I’m not sure if it was because we were young or because we were black or both. I was pretty much done with the trip because we felt judged and uncomfortable. After that statement we were thrown off, but we didn’t wanna let it ruin our time. A couple hours later the captain was driving very reckless. I have been on PLENTY of boat rides and I have never experienced sickness after the ride. The boat was very rocky and the water was very calm and relaxed. I have never felt this level of discomfort. My friend and I had to take a nap because it was the only thing that made us feel better. It was very uncomfortable and I was ready to get off. It was so bad that I was convinced he did not know what he was doing. Other than that it was an interesting experience, but personally I would not recommend the company at all.

Excellent captain and crew. We were offered (all you cane drink) a choice of rum punch, liquor cocktails, soft drinks, beer & water. Snorkeling was excellent & were able to see sunken submarine, lots of fish & helicopter.
Then sailed to Mullet Bay for another dip in the crystal blue waters. Huge mat provided on the water to lay & play on. Had a delicious lunch of Caribbean chicken, rice & Caesar salad. Captain timed Maho beach just right so we were able to watch planes above us land. Headed back to Gumpys bar destination; upon arrival we were offered a shot to toast to a wonderful day at sea. The meet up destination is straight out the front gate and take a left. Ten minute walk to Grumpys bar. Easy peasy!

It was easy instructions where to meet for check in and boarding . The crew Brandon , Camille and captain David was awesome . We had a great time even though a South change of destinations due to weather . But it’s still a fantastic day trip on the phoenix catamaran . Drinks like beers , rums was served throughout the trip . Fun filled day meeting new people from everywhere on board. Would recommend

The crew was amazing. Capt David was the best, professional and laid back too. Camila our cook and happiest person ever. Took care of all our needs. Plus 2 more crew! The stops were great. The equipment all in good shape. Totally comfortable and the food was delish! and plenty of it. The drinks were flowing and the company was even better. A special shout out to Capt, after the trip was done and we walked to the cheese shop, we were struggling back to the ship in the brutal heat and Capt offered us a ride to port gate. that really go beyond and so many thanks!

Captain David and the crew made the experience great! Lunch was super yummy-I had to ask for the recipe so I could recreate i at home! The boat is super clean and well maintained. We were never left without a drink in our hands because of the attentive crew! The snorkeling was nothing special at the area we went to-but it was still a good time! We made friends with other passenger from candada and Austria. The crew made us feel extra special on our honeymoon as well.

Captain Dave, Jacob, and Camille were an amazing crew! We had such a great time on our last full day in St. Martin. We were so pleased with everything. I especially loved the snorkeling. But the entire boat experience was so lux and fun! I also got tons of amazing photos. Me and my boyfriend are so thankful to the whole crew! Unforgettable way to end our trip. 💕💕💕

The simplicity of it all! From the staff to the experience, it was perfect! The food and drinks provided were also delicious. Had a very nice snorkeling experience and it was very calming.

This Catamaran trip was absolutely amazing! I can't recommend Captain David and Camille enough for how memorable they made our trip! Not only was the boat perfect, the constant attention in regards to food and drinks was awesome. If you are looking for a Boat trip you will never forget look no further than Sail the Phoenix!!

Absolutely wonderful! Captain Dave’s humor made the “safety/what will happen” speech fun. The water was perfect, the lunch was great, and when the dark clouds and waterspouts showed up, he kept us in the sunshine as we returned. Highly recommend!
