This is a great way to visit Salem
from Boston. You can pick up a trolley tour at the wharf or walk, most attractions are within walking distance. The weather wasn’t the best but the crew was friendly. Drinks and snack can be bought on board, or bring your own. It’s a 50 minute commute by ferry. A great way to see the coast

Great way to travel for a day trip to Salem. Highly recommend bringing a warm hoodie for the boat ride, it gets cold on the water, even on a hot day.

It did the job! The pier is pretty, the views and bar offerings were meh. However, I'd still recommend because we met a lovely couple and once you get to Salem you can literally walk straight into the town. It was fast and efficient.

The ferry was very convenient. My only complaint is that on the day of the trip the weather was bad (raining & cold) and instead of being allowed to board the ferry which was docked and scheduled to depart at 4pm, customers had to wait in the rain & cold. It would have been a better experience to be able to board and wait on the ferry until departure. We arrived to the dock 20 minutes to 4pm & had to wait.
