On the tour we offer drinks on board, we explain in detail all the places of interest as well as information about relevant characters and stories. The tour begins at the hotel or house where you are staying, we will arrive at the balloon port in Teotihuacán, you will board in a shared balloon, where you will admire the great pre-Hispanic city to continue with the archaeological site where you will visit the pyramid of the sun, pyramid of the moon and road of the dead. Then we will go to refresh ourselves with regional drinks such as pulque, tequila and mezcal to finish we will visit a craft house where they work obsidian and sell souvenirs.

The balloon experience was organized and worked like a well-oiled machine. A safe and smooth experience; we felt very safe. Betsa, our guide, was phenomenal. She was in contact before the tour to confirm details. She’s very knowledgeable about the Teotihuacan site and had facts and illustrations at the ready so we could get the most out of our visit (you definitely need a guide as signage is limited and outdated). She took us to an authentic tortilleria and arranged for us to try some crickets and sour cactus fruit that we’d been discussing on our drive. The visit to the mezcal and gift shop at the end was fun and we found a few gifts we liked. Betsa gave us many recommendations for the rest of our stay, including fabulous restaurants. In fact, I’m sitting at Rosetta as I write this because she gave us a pro-tip to show up for lunch. It’s as good as she described. Our guide Betsa was so friendly and knowledgeable about Mexican culture and history. She accommodated our diet and introduced us to extraordinary street food as a bonus to the entire experience. She was well-known by the balloon operators and got us to all the best entrances, times for viewing, and helped us navigate the excursion. An experience like she provided was well worth the cost!

Betsa was an absolute pleasure for our private hot air balloon and Teotihuacan tour. She picked us up promptly at our hotel and was a pleasure to chat with on the way. Very personable! The balloon was ready for us and up UP and away! Peaceful, serene, just WOW.
We spent the rest of the morning at Teotihuacan. We lucked out because it was empty and had the place to ourselves. Betsa was super knowledgeable and really took us on a journey through the past — even better, she gracefully answered our 1000 questions :-)
To cap the day, she took us to a cute, family owned Mexican stand to try some of her local (non touristy) favorites - what a treat!
I’d highly recommend this adventure with Betsa! Bravo!

We had the best time! Our tour guides, Xchel and BetsaL were very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They picked us up in front of our hotel in a luxury SUV. Then we went to the hot air balloons where they took care of everything. They gave us a private tour of Teotihuacan where they taught us a lot of stuff such as the history of the site, the efforts that the archaeologists and governments have put into it, the people in the area, and even about the accreditation process to become a tour guide. My husband enjoyed talking with them on the way back to our hotel about Mexico in general. Definitely take this tour!

We had the most amazing time with Besta! She was right on time waiting outside our Airbnb in a full-size luxury SUV. Everything was arranged for us, including tickets to the pyramids and a visit to a local market. She also took us to an authentic and delicious quesadilla shop for breakfast after an unforgettable hot air balloon ride. This tour was the highlight of our trip!

The hot air balloon tour was the best experience ever! Our tour guide Betsa was the best! I had planned a Mexico City trip with my friends and my girlfriend with the surprise of a marriage proposal. Over a month before our trip, Betsa has been in the loop of my plans and helped me make arrangements to plan for the perfect surprise. She was very accommodating and even help make suggestions/recommendations to help carry out my plan.
We enjoyed every second of it. From the hot air balloon tour, to the chocolate making, etc.
Would highly recommend to everybody!

Our tourguide was. We had such a great day. We had a private tour and he picked is up at the hotel, had a very comfortabel car which was great because in the early morning it is nice to wake up smoothly. Xchel did an amazing job and made our day very special. He knows everything about the places we went and told us everything about Mexico. What I did like a lot was that he also took is to some specific Mexican places that were not touristical at all. And he made a lot of pictures of us and send them to me. The hot air balloon trip is one to never forget. When in Mexico Coty, please make sure you book a trip with Xchel.

The hot air balloon was not well organized.
The tour guide Sara wasn’t informative and didn’t share much information about the trip at all.
Specially in the temple and pyramid place where a lot was there to explain and not much was shared or she didn’t seem to know much about it even.
I was looking at all other guides non stop sharing information with other tourists but we barely got anything out of the trip.
I could say our guide was only a driver that picked us up and took us to the location and spoke a bit and that’s it.
I would just give her thanks to taking us for breakfast which was not included.
