This is actually the second time I have done this tour..I enjoyed so much the first time with my daughter I went back with my husband and sister!
Alex is fab, fun and full of knowledge. He provides a lot of detail but it's not boring ...we loved the different port places and of course the tasting!!!

Fantastic tour of well known and lesser known (but arguably better ) port caves. Alex is a great guide/host., with a knack for getting the group to coalesce. Not too much walking, no hills, lots of port! Highly recommend!

Our guide was Alex. He was fantastic! He is very knowledgeable, shared lots of tips and gave additional advices about port and wine in general. And everything was done in friendly funny atmosphere. We have had a great time!

The best tour guide one could ask for! Alex did an outstanding job! Very characteristic and informative! He is I outstanding engaging with every single person in the group on a first name basis. Loved his sense of humor and making our tour fun! He explained port wine very well on all aspects for one that has no clue on port wine or its history. Fantastic guy and would recommend Alex to everyone! 5 ⭐️ from me!!

Although tasting and learning about port was excellent, the most memorable thing about this experience was meeting people from around the world. Our guide, Alex, was fun and knowledgeable . The tour is unofficially divided into smaller groups of no more than 18 by age. We appreciated being with others near our age rather than with rowdy 20 year olds. The port was delicious!!! This tour was well worth the time.
