Delphi English Day Trip from Athens with tickets

Loved this tour and was worth seeing but with Athens traffic turned into a 8 hour trip. So if you don’t have a full day to give I would not recommend it. But was very interesting and lunch was good.

ABSOLUTELY the best day trip from Athens! The meeting point was centrally located and easy to find. The tour left promptly on time and the bus was comfortable and had A/C. Our tour guide was WONDERFUL and entertained us with interesting facts and back stories for almost the full ride to Delphi. Delphi itself was breathtaking and such an amazing spot to reflect on life in ancient Greece. The included lunch was at the most gorgeous hotel on top of the mountain and added to the enjoyment of this day trip. On the way home, the bus was quiet and most people slept. Anyone traveling to Athens should add this tour to their to-do list! Very professional tour operator!

Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny, respectful of all of us, filled with interesting facts and presented us with details about this beautiful site that were very interesting. We always use Viator tour guides, they are all terrific. A wonderful experience.

The bus ride is way too long! You spend 3 times more time on the bus than at the site. When you get there the village is very cute and the ruins are interesting but not worth the time it takes to get there. For me it is a big no, don’t go!

Great tour guide and driver. Good balance of touring and free time to explore. Skipped the optional lunch for a local spot with great food and views. Wonderful experience!

Amazing trip to Delphi.
Highly recommended, arqueological site is a must if you're in Greece. Our tour guide was excellent and the lunch was exquisite.

The trip to Delphi and the museum were great! Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and the sites were super interesting. Lots of tourists, but I can't complain because we were also part of the problem.

The only downside was the included lunch. It was terrible. We were at a nice hotel with a beautiful view but we had significantly better spinach pie at the rest stop on the way in, the salad was a pile of shredded raw cabbage with a couple of drops of dressing somewhere in the middle, the chicken was so tough that cutting it caused the waiter to notice that our table was wobbly. Dessert was delicious, so at least the meal ended on a high note.

Get the tour, skip the included lunch. Easily the worst food we've had in Greece.

Sofia was amazing! She presented us with all the details, both from the journey and from Delphi and the museum - detail by detail. She is very kind and nice, attentive to details, and knows how to keep your attention on what she is describing. The whole trip was amazing! We also ate well! Kindly recommend!!

Rose was a wonderful guide, very informative. This trip was relaxing after some much walking. 2.5 hours each way. There is a stop in between on the bus drive definitely bring water and a snack if you are worried about food, a picky eater, or don’t appreciate the different cultures. The history and being on the very grounds of mythology is beyond words. Lunch at the hotel was ok, but I wasn’t there for a fancy lunch.

The audio from the guide was not good. Also there wasn’t a good story/timeline to the things that were commented during the day. Also we did not visit the Delphi Amphitheater neither was it mentioned.
