The guide was the best part - she was very funny, gave us lots of facts and trivia, and friendly. However, I just don't think the tour was worth $50 - maybe $30. I guess if you don't have a rental car, maybe it's worth it because the tour goes out to the Portland Head Light and it would be hard to get to without a rental car. But I could have driven there myself. I'm really bummed I spent so much money on this.

Was a little disappointed on the tour. We have a 9 and 7 year old and the tour guide kept on talking about murders and deaths, all for the sake of promoting his book, which he talked about instantly. He should have been more cognizant of the fact there were young children on the tour, instead of focusing on the promotion of his book.

Perfect introduction to the city. Our guide/driver was informative and entertaining. Trolley was easy to access with openings large enough to see the points of interest. Highly recommend.

This is an absolute MUST DO TOUR! Charlie is one of the best tour guides I have had. His health of knowledge about the rich Portland history, along with his witty sense of humor makes his the absolute perfect guide. I will definitely take this tour again with other family members.
Arrive early in order to be able to pick a good spot on the bus!

We took the trolley tour of Portland and the lighthouse and had a very enjoyable afternoon. Our tour guide Barry was incredibly knowledgeable and told many informative stories about Portland. I would highly suggest this tour to anyone who is looking to see the sites of Portland.

We booked this tour on a whim and it turned out to be one of the most memorable things we did during our 3 night stay in Portland. We learned a lot about the history of the city and enjoyed the sights along the way. Our guide (Charlie) was awesome!

The first comment from the tour guide was an anti-trans joke. This was followed by him saying that he intends to offend everyone on the trip. I was stunned. Can you imagine how unwelcome a member of the LGBTQIA+ community felt on this tour? It completely ruined the experience for me. I would recommend those who are allies and members of the queer community avoid supporting this business.
In addition, the tour guide disparaged a President, talked about building the wall and denied climate change. These topics do not have a place on a tourist trolley experience.
Strongly do not recommend.

Lovely overview of the city and coastline - Portland Head Light was picture perfect of rocky coast and beautiful park - bring a jacket if you get cold going over bridge. Tour guide had great volume and engaging narrative of city's highlights.
