The Marietas Islands Tour is special for the natural beauty it offers, with spectacular landscapes, reefs and crystal clear waters. The hidden beach being an extra charge is hidden from the initial description. We did not take enough cash with us to do the hidden beach. We asked them if $85.00 for two people was enough. They told us yes that it was not an issue. When we arrived back at the port they took us by hand and would not let us leave until we paid the full 134 that they were charging initially. Their card reader was not working. It left us in a very awkward situation where we were forced to pay for a service that they threw on us, in a country where we don’t speak the native language.
They ended up following us to the hotel where I was able to use my debit card to pull out funds.
In conclusion, they told us initially 85 dollars was good enough and then took our ids and forced us to pay at port for the full amount anyways. It was a very scary situation.
They also said we were having shrimp and burgers for lunch but instead served us tuna. This was a minute issue compared to the aforementioned issue.

The tour was good. Especially on the way back they really did their very best to ensure we all had a good time.
