The tour is self-guided & self-paced almost equivalent to having a personal guide. The instructions are clear & easy to follow. One feels like he/she is on a Scavanger hunt looking for clues & shapes while learning about the rich history of the city.
We should have such tours for every city!
This was one of the best experiences during my Europe trip.

Highly recommend this tour, especially, if you are curious about the history of Zurich. Even though I lived in Zurich for many years, I learned so much in this couple of hours.
Content is very rich in fascinating historic facts.
Excellent presentation (voice and audio quality is always important for me. It was perfect, super professional, beautiful language, pleasant voice and background music).
Very detailed , easy to follow route description including even trafic safety considerations.
Overall - top quality product.

This was the first time I walked around Zurich with an audio guide. The route is logical, you just go from one monument or place to another. I really liked that you can change the audio when you do not need to listen to it and go to the right one. For example, I didn't listened the description of the path several times. But if you are new to the city, this feature can be useful. I also really liked that there is text under each audio. I stopped the audio several times because it was noisy outside, sat down on a bench and read.
I especially remember the sections about the Opera (description of busts of great writers and composers), Grossmünster (I was very surprised that there were a lot of people in the building, but no one goes down to the basement to the monument of Charlemagne!!! It seems to me that without help there is almost no chance to notice this staircase), Spiegelgasse (Cabaret Voltaire and Lenin's House).
After the tour, the best thing to do is to have a good meal, because it takes at least 2 hours to walk (I took a little longer).
And I would advise you to think carefully about the time for a walk. I started the tour on a weekday at 16:00. I must say that there are a lot of people on Bahnhostrasse at that time. I would advise you to choose a time in the morning when, for example, the entrance to the Grossmünster is open and there are fewer people (but not a fact, as there are almost always a lot of people in the center of Zurich).
In general, I liked thus City Tour with Audio and got a good amount of cultural and historical information about the city. Of the wishes, only a possible translation of the audio guide into other languages.
