In this tour, you will discover the secrets of the largest and busiest complex of museums in the world, including the fantastic Sistine Chapel with no crowds. They say that the early bird catches the worm, and when it comes to visiting such complex and labyrinthine museums it is definitely true that the earlier you get there, the more you will see. Early risers get the occasion of experiencing the Vatican at their own pace and they will maximise the time that will have to enjoy their holiday! By booking this tour that starts at 7:00 AM you will visit the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel with extremely few people around you. You will have the time and privacy to see everything you want in the Museums, and even more! This tour is designed for no more than 15 people so that the experience gets more private, yet still fun and that every individual gets enough dedication from the guide that is assigned to their tour.

The experience was good, however; I feel like the title and information on the tour was misleading and inaccurate. We met our tour guide at 7:00, however; did not enter into the Vatican until 8:30. Our tour guide spoke for over an hour outside before we ever entered. We entered at the same time as everyone else. There was a point where a hallway was already roped off because it was too busy. This was definitely not the early morning tour where you get in before 8:00 and before others. This was definitely not early entry. If the tour company could not ascertain the early tickets that should have been communicated.

Barbara was wonderfully informative and clearly explained the history of the Vatican, in particular Michelangelo's contributions.

The animals statue gallery was fun. The gallery of maps was breathtaking. The Sistine Chapel was beautiful. The Basilica was massive, with an impressive Michelangelo statue that Barbara told us to look out for.

Worth getting up early for to miss the even bigger crowds.

Hello
I wanted to inform you of our dissatisfaction with the Vatican visit made by your company on Monday morning, March 4.
We had taken the 94 euro VIP pass which included Small Group Tour of the Museum, Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Square and Basilica.
Unfortunately my cousin broke her foot a few days before our departure, we contacted your services (Michael) who offered us a wheelchair and find us at the entrance at 7:50 instead of 7:30.
We met Michael who was really helpfull and nice and he introduced us to our guide to start the visit with another couple.
We picked up a wheelchair for our cousin and started the tour. After 20 minutes, the guide told us that we had to separate for 40 minutes with my cousin and her brother. The guard who was next to us told our guide in Italian that there was an elevator and that they could very well join us to visit the galleries. Our guide refused (apparently it bothered him) and we had to separate.
During their self-guided visit, another guard told them a way to visit the museum believing that given the price paid they were entitled and the opportunity to see more.
We then found them in the Sistine Chapel. Then the guide told us that it was the end of the visit and left us there. So we were at the place st pierre alone all 5 and could not visit the Basilica in view of the endless queue that there was.
So we are very unhappy with this order knowing for 5 people we paid 460 euros and that we had 1h 20 minutes of visit instead of 3 hours planned.
As a result, I thank you kindly to reimburse us for visits not made.
I deplore the attitude of this guide who obviously was not in empathy or sympathy.

It was a bit pricey but well worth the price. Having never been to the Vatican it is really hard to navigate on your own. You don't know who can trust and signs are hard to understand what they are really trying to say.

The early morning tour is the way to do it. Our guide took us first to St Peters Basilica and gave us 30 mins to enjoy the church. It was nice and peaceful without too many people. We were in st peters square 2 days earlier and it was pretty shoulder to shoulder packed.

The early morning tour was literally night and day difference. We pretty much walked right into the church. After the church our guide took us to the Vatican museums and again pretty much walked right in. Tour guides can bypass the main line. The tour through the museum was nice but a bit rushed. Our guide was insightful and quickly answered any questions. Luckily our group was only 10 people.

The sistine chapel was beautiful but crowded. After the chapel our guide allowed us to leave the tour and return to the galleries. I would highly recommend this tour. It literally saved hours.

Highly recommend the early entry, it was definitely worth getting up early. We were met at the meeting point by a lovely girl who directed us where we could wait for our tour guide. We had time to sit and enjoy a coffee and croissant while we waited. Tour started on time and was very well organized. We made it through St Peter square and the cathedral before the long lines started. If you don’t buy tickets in advance you will be waiting for hours. Frederica then led us to the museum and on to the Sistine Chapel. She is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and has a great personality!

This is very much access only. Don’t think there is a tour component. The guide was really a facilitator. If you just want to get in early and be left alone, this will work for you. Sadly, on our day, the entire tour was cut short due to the Vatican Museum closing for the morning. To the tour company’s credit, they offered the chance to come back the next day or a full refund. Our plans could not change so we needed to take refund.

This early morning tour is the best option if you want to avoid the crowd and enjoy the Vatican at your own pace. Highly recommended especially for the visit of the Sistine Chapel with nobody in it.

I love spending hours and hours in museums when I visit. I find the Vatican Museums full of history, beauty and culture. Experiencing the museums early in the morning without the crowds is an amazing experience. The guide was very knowleadgeable and provided us so much info on the art inside. The Sistine Chapel left me speechless. 👍🏻👍🏻
