Come and experience the wonders of the Pilanesberg Nature reserve in full day open safari drive . Have the opportunity to view the big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard), up close and personal.
We collect everyone from there hotels in or Pretoria Johannesburg around 530 to 6 am before we head out on safari.
We have a short stop half way to Pilanesberg for some refreshments . Our open safari experience starts around 9 am and ends around 3 pm . We do have a 1 hour lunch stop at the Pilanesberg Center over looking a small watering hole .
We exit the park around 3 pm and estimated time of arrival back in Johannesburg is approximately 1730 to 18h00. We can have you at the airport but remember to bring your luggage with you .
Sightings in Pilanesberg are amazing . We only use small 10 seater vehicles and our guides are all extremely passionate qualified with extra in-house training .

We got to experience seeing animals in their natural environment and managed to see 4 of the big 5.
Host was very knowledgeable on the animals behaviour and stopped on each occasion to enable us to understand.
Was good fun for the children and definitely worth the trip

The driver was on time at the hotel to pick up us. It was a very nice road (about 2:00) until we get the safari from Johannesburg.
The ranger was very nice and so kind to find the animals. Also, we had a great lunch at the safari area and the return to hotel was nice as well.

A perfect Safari Trip..the weather was just great...my tour guide Petronas? I think that was his name really made all the effort for us to find the animals we wanted to see...you really need to be in an open vehicle to really experience the thrill when you get to see the animals just in front of you...A MUST DO WHEN IN SOUTH AFRICA!!

Had an amazing time. Saw the big 5.
Our guide/ranger was excellent. Made sure we saw everything and stopped to take pics etc. nice lunch included.
It was our last day and we asked if we could be dropped off at the airport on our return and bring our wheelies with us. It wasn’t a problem. Definitely recommend.

Did a safari with MOAfrika Tours on Sunday May 26, 2024. Our tour guide name was Tian. Overall the safari was great. Tian did a wonderful job in being our tour guide. He was marvelous and instrumental in us finding all the animals to see. The only animal we did not get a chance to see in plain sight were the Lions.
We had a delicious lunch, however, it was difficult trying to eat our lunch, due to the amount of bees that kept invading the lunch space area.

From easy booking to great communication to excellent drivers/tour guides (Arnold, Mzwa,and Sunny) to amazing amazing efforts to get us to see so many amazing animals…it was truly truly an A++ day.

Game drives were good but should be more communication about the 2 hour drive there and back. Makes it a long day and boring driving in the full van
Got good 3 hour game drive in the morning but only 1 hour in the afternoon

The experience was great, we went with a group of friends and everything was incredible. It's worth it. A Safari is the only way humans should be able to see these incredible animals, and not in zoos. The guide was very friendly, he explained everything to us in great detail. Without a doubt, I will recommend it to everyone who comes to the city.

We went on safari in Pilanesberg National Park. The arrangements were just as described. The open side safari vehicle gave each passenger a great view. Our driver/guide, Petrus, was excellent! He tried so hard to find leopards and lions. He shared his knowledge of plant and animal life in an engaging way. The lunch break was good. I highly recommend MoAfrica.

The tour itself was amazing. We were a small group in a nice and comfortable safari car with a funny driver who explained a lot and was very engaged in finding the big 5 for us. We saw so many animals - that was just amazing.
The organisation and the contact around our tour was very good and clear.
We can highly recommend this tour.
