Bassa Marea Boat Charter was a top notch professional company. I made memories I will never forget. The landscape, the ocean, the kindness of our captain. Swimming in the Mediterranean ocean was a dream come true. The boat had water, sodas, beer, towels. I would highly recommend going out for a tour with the wonderful people at Bassa Marea.

We rented the boat just for transport to Positano, leaving from the Port of Marina de Cantone (Nerano). We thought it would just be a “taxi boat” and it was surprising, we actually took a boat trip, our sailor was Michelle, where he walked around the tourist attractions and stopped to show us and explain each one of them. In addition to being super attentive, he also speaks English and Spanish, which made it very easy for me to understand everything. It was very pleasant, the boat is beautiful and super beautiful... and we even got an all-Brazilian playlist to accompany us on our tour. (which would just be a transport to Positano). Surprising, congratulations.

Amazing, highly recommend! Hired a boat from here while staying in Nerano for a couple of days. Very easy to hire, boat was a rib with no licence required, boat was fast enough and easy to drive.
We ended up doing a trip around Capri and then to Positano and back to Nerano in one day, stopping of at Positano for drinks. This is easily the best way to see the Amalfi coast line if you are short on time! We will definitely be back and do again!

When heading to Nerano bay, you don’t want to miss a boat tour with Salvatore’s boats and ribs.
The desk is right in the shore, can’t avoid to stop by and ask Salvatore for your dream tour alongside the Amalfi Coast or to the magic Capri island. He would tell you all those secret hidden spots one wouldn’t find.
Boats are in perfect conditions, skippers very patient and professional, prices very correct.

We had a fantastic experience on a skippered trip to Capri for sunset! Comfortable boat and lovely captain Mario! Salvatore was very helpful and pleasant, so much so, we came back the following day to rent a Selva 570 rib. We headed to Positano this time and stopped off for some lunch. Boat was clean and was a perfect way to finish our trip to Nerano! Thank you Salvatore!

We hired a Selva 570 in June 2022 for a trip along the coast to Positano. We liked it so much we hired the same boat again the next day & went to Capri. Great service & communication leading up to the day we hired the boat, Salvatore was fabulous on the beach. We will be back in July & will be using you again for boat hire.

This was the best day of our holiday! We hired the larger 10m boat for the day, we were a group of 9 including 4 kids ranging in age from 8 to 13. Our skipper Tony really made the day, he was very safe and knowledgeable and made sure we kept hydrated with cold beer, Prosecco and soft drinks for the kids. We decided to take the boat east towards Amalfi where our skipper booked a lovely beach restaurant for lunch, we’d never have known about this restaurant and likely wouldn’t have been able to get a table if we did because it was packed by 13:00. We then stopped off in Positano for some shopping and then dropped the anchor in a small cove only accessible by boat for a swim/snorkel. The kids grinned from start to finish and we all said the day was amazing and well worth the money. Making the booking was easy and ongoing communication with Arianna from their office made the whole thing effortless with all questions we had answered well in advance of our trip. I really can’t recommend this trip enough for those that want to have a unique experience and see the stunning Amalfi coastline from the luxury of a boat. The boat itself had ample room for all of us - all 9 could sit/lay on the front or sit at the back and everything was spotlessly clean. The toilet was also easy to use. This was the best day ever, thank you so much from all of us, we can’t wait to do it again!

So worth it!
This was the best part of our trip to Italy! Carlo, our captain, picked my daughter and I up in Nerano and took us all around Capri Island. He made us a lunch reservation at a great place where we never would have found a table. A small boat took us to lunch on the island from our big boat and Carlo stayed close and gave us his number should we need anything while on Capri. He took us to lesser known and beautiful grottos and swimming spots. The most beautiful water we have ever swam in. This was totally worth the splurge! Great photos for my teen. Arianna was also super helpful scheduling us in advance.

Everything was awesome! Our skipper was incredible, very easy going and friendly. He made our trip so relaxing and fun. Frist. he took the time to explain all the fun and historical facts about Capri and he took us to swim under the blue caves. So if you see this review, BOOK IT! You won’t regret it…
