Honestly, it was one of the best and most ecstatic experiences of our lives! Our 6 years old son wouldn’t stop smiling and screaming from happiness! The dogs were absolutely perfect and they loved cuddles! Kudos to our guide Jeremy, he was very welcoming and very knowledgeable. We really admired his love and his commitment to his dogs!. He showed us the Alaskan landscape in the best way! We 100% recommend this activity!!

Amanda, the owner of the property, was so nice! She made sure that we were comfortable and explained everything there was about mushing. She took us on an 8 mile mushing trip, where we got to take some unforgettable pictures. The experience was amazing. We got to be with the dogs and pet them. Dogs are super friendly and well behaved. If you are looking for an amazing mushing experience I highly recommend Last Frontier Mushing Co-Op.

This is hands-down, the best dog tour I’ve been on. The private tour is an hour long which is nice. Amanda and Chase are very knowledgeable and take good care of their dogs. Also, you stay plenty warm because they have extra gear that you can wear for no extra charge

Amanda and the Mushing Co were very generous, kind, and genuine to us. They provided any winter gear you would possibly need to ensure warmth and comfort. They had a heated yurt for us before and after the tour where they answered any questions we had. Outhouses were provided. They were very knowledgeable about dog sledding, its history and culture, and their dogs safety and health. Meeting the sledding team before taking off was a unique experience as well as observing the setup of the dog sled. These dogs are extremely friendly, cuddly, and excited to mush.

We had a great time on the dog sleds. We learned a little bit of the dogs and it was beautiful scenic route. They provided warm gear and Chase was great guide.

It was super fun and comfortable ride! The weather was -17C , but I didn’t feel cold because wearing their boots and coats . My face and eyes were cold though 😀

I was skeptical about taking a dog sled tour as I wanted to do it with a place that treated dogs ethically.
What I liked the most about Last Frontier is that it is a coop, meaning that the owners of the dogs are the mushers themselves, instead of a business.
It was a pleasure to be part of this tour, learn from the muchera about each and everyone of it's dogs, their lifestyle, get all our questions answered and learn a lot, in addition to being amazed with the performance of the team!
Highly recommend it
