Booked a 3pm tour. Had to line up and received tickets for entrance at 3.30 to be told to return at 4.15pm due ticket access
Seemed fairly unorganised, would have rated lower if the tour guide wasn’t good. The tour guide knew his knowledge, shame for such poor organising skills from behind the scenes

Not what I expected, especially paying for tickets that were already free.
Viator did not state or make this clear enough at the time of booking, and was only brought to light post booking the tour.
Our tour guide however was very knowledgeable, but it wasn’t ideal having to wait in a queue during 25 degrees and in a fairly large group with a child, and with more people being added to the group on the day.
The tour didn’t start at the time specified and instead had to walk away from the monument to queue up for free tickets.
The tour guide explained that this was due to it being the first Sunday of the month. But I put this down to Viator not making it clear to customers and even with the booking it states skip the line. So totally false advertisement and should remove that.

Was a little sceptical to start as there were a lot of people offering a ‘skip the que tour/tickets’. However, was blown away by Amir and his knowledge of the Colosseum! He was engaging, funny and highly knowledgeable! If you’re in Rome and want a decent tour guide, get in touch! Highly recommend doing this tour!! My tour guide was Amr and he has so much knowledge and passion for history! The facts and stories you learn are incredible! You have a radio with headphones to hear the guide talking since there is so many people, this is super helpful! The description written for the tour is really accurate and holds a lot of good information such as where your ticket is good for etc. I got lucky because I didn’t book a ticket on this website but ran into someone representing this tour in person outside the colosseum. I paid $25 usd for the tour and $16 usd for the ticket to enter. Overall so happy I did the tour and 100% recommend doing this tour!!
