The tour begins with a visit to a port wine producer: Quinta da Roêda. There will be a personalized guided tour on the vineyards where the process of making the port wine will be explained. The wine tasting will be accompanied by a careful selection of Portuguese cheeses.
After tasting, we will embark 1 hour boat ride in a typical wooden boat (Rabelos). This soothing ride is the best time to contemplate the landscape and nature of the Douro Valley.
Lunch is served in a beautiful farm overlooking to the vineyards where there are several food options: fish, meat or vegetarian. Everything are included in the price.
The second winery is a small table wine producer, It will be an interesting opportunity to have more contact with the locals. The visit ends with an olive oil tasting.

We had a wonderful time. It was so well planned out. Márcio was a great tour guide, very polite and informative. It was nice to have a smaller group tour so we could ask questions and enjoy the comfort of a little extra space. I highly recommend leaving the city of Porto for a day to visit the Douro Valley, it is such a beautiful region in Portugal!

This was a wonderful tour—perfectly planned to capture the beauty of the Duoro Valley. Our guide, Samuel, was excellent and kept the day moving at a steady pace. Both the wine and lunch were excellent.

The guide was very nice , but really just a driver and not a guide as there was minimal information about where we were going , culture etc about Portugal

Paulo our guide was fabulous. The tour exceeded my expectations and I’ve been on many trips through Europe. The Douro Valley is a special place. Everything was perfect. The boat ride, the people, the wineries, the variety of wines were spectacular.

Marcello was prompt to pick us up. Very friendly and funny chap. Good sense of humour. Good value for money. The 2 wineries were lovely. Preferred the 1st one as they provided good nibbles to accompany the tastings. The boat ride was fun too. Only negative is that we had to ask Marcello to slow down on the return journey. His speed was 140+ kms and it was becoming quite scary as passengers.

Marcello was an amazing tour guide. Great attitude from start to finish. He has lots of jokes throughout so we were always of good spirits. My husband and I weren't drinking but were given timeslots for when we needed to be back if we wanted to explore while the others did the wine tasting. When we got off to stop for beaks he told us where to stop for tasty treats and good views. Marcelo had water bottles in the car for us so we didn’t have to worry about stopping for that. The Douro valley was beautiful ! This is a must see trip and I would really recommend seeing it with this company.

This whole day itinerary gave us a great overview of the Duoro Valley. Our guide, Pedro Pedrosa did his job very well, and provided us time for each stop, including a coffee/toilet break, drove safely, and most importantly shared useful and relevant information.

Sarah was our tour guide and she was simply amazing! She picked us up, gave us lots of history about the area and beyond. We loved both of our wine estate visits, the boat cruise, and lunch! We walked around saying we felt like she was a friend to us all! Would 100 percent recommend this day again!

The trip of a lifetime. Not only was Alex the best tour guide and very knowledgeable, my son proposed to his gf at the first vineyard- beautiful views. Don’t miss going to Duoro Valley, it won’t disappoint. You also get to try the best olive oil and honey! The lunch was top notch. Why we found this trip even better is because it is small and not too many people.
