Imagine rappelling down waterfalls in a private rainforest valley on the famed Road to Hana. What's rappelling? It's a popular adventure/gravity sport that includes a descent from a cliff or wall using anchored ropes. Under supervision and instruction from expert guides, you’ll use professional equipment to descend into nature in the Maui location featured in the movie Jurassic Park. Great for active families, couples, groups and solo travelers with an appreciation for dynamic outdoor excursions. Minimum age of 10; minimum weight of 70 lbs., maximum weight of 250 lbs., and waist measurement between 22 and 48 inches. All gear (including shoes) provided. RAIN or SHINE: We go to the rainforest. Waterfalls are naturally occurring phenomena changing rapidly at any time. When the streams flood due to rain and the falls are roaring or swollen, and we cannot safely rappel one or both waterfalls, we rappel 40- to 115-foot drops from jungle cliffsides at a safe distance from the water course.

Elena and Jackson were great! We had quite the diverse group and they helped each of us as needed! The area was stunningly beautiful and the waterfalls were crisp and amazing. These two really did well.
The only regret was that the time flew by too quickly and we were all doing pretty well by the third fall. However, it was over at that point.

Repelling off the waterfall was more fun than expected. The instructors break everything down for you so by the last time it is easy.

If you do one excursion your whole trip do this one! In the words of my 17 year old son… very cool, great staff, amazing views, a must do.
Naomi and Jonas made us feel comfortable and welcome from the moment we arrived. We were well informed every step of the way and positively encouraged. They asked questions to learn about who we are and also allowed us to learn about them and their lives here on the island. Honestly the best money spent on the island.

Rappel Maui was a fantastic experience for myself, my wife and my 2 teenage sons, 13 and 15. We were all excited and a bit nervous because we had never done any rappelling before. Our guides, Naomi and Shauna were hilarious. They made us feel safe as they explained everything and made sure we were safe at all times.
Rappel Maui is the best excursion/activity that my family has ever done. It was crazy. We were all exhilarated. The scenery was amazing and the 2 waterfalls were simply beautiful. My kids were focused and engaged the entire time. The experience brought our family closer together. If your group can handle some physical activity, then you should check this out. It was awesome.

You need to do this! We had an amazing time. The guides are friendly and patient and clearly knowledgeable and safe about how to do this right. They gave us the time we needed to enjoy each waterfall and cheered us on the whole way. Thanks for a great unique experience!

We travelled with 4 teenage kids and had a fantastic time. The Rappelling experience was recommended by friends who suggested it was their favourite excursion on the Island on their prior trip and we agree. Highly recommended. No prior experience required.

This excursion was amazing!! Shauna and Jackson were great. They were very knowledgeable and kept us safe. They were very personable and kept us laughing the entire time. Rappelling down the waterfall was such a unique experience that we would love to do again. Highly recommend.
