Pickup from Riad or the hotel in Marrakech at around 08:30 am.
Meet the guide in Marrakech, and drive south-east towards the majestic Atlas Mountains.
Stop to take a picture of the oldest Berber village in the Tahanout area, and visit the Berber woman cooperative.
Stop at Asni to picture the summit of Oukaimden before reaching Imlil.
Reach Imlil village, and start the walk going through the Berber villages to discover their culture.
Visit a waterfall in the middle of nowhere. The walk will be gentle, and the views are awesome.
Lunch will be cooked by our family in my traditional home.
Return to Marrakesh by 5:00 pm.

We had a great time on this tour. Good communication before hand regarding pick up time and location (messaged on WhatsApp). Our driver was on time and took us safely along the mountain roads to the start of our hike, stopping along the way for photos of the amazing views and to visit an argan oil women's cooperative.
Our hike was led by Mustafa who was brilliant, he took the walk at a good pace with plenty of stops for rest/photos/water breaks. He gave us lots of information about the area and the Berber community. There were some steep parts but the walk was not too challenging, we all wore running shoes/skechers which were fine. We had tea in a berber house which was wonderful. At the end of the walk we had a brilliant and filling lunch (chicken tagine with bread and fruit, there was also a vegetarian option). I think this tour was great value, would definitely recommend as a contrast to the city.

An excellent escape from the bustle of Marrakesh. Driver Hassan was safe, helpful and full of information. Walking guide, Mustafa, was patient and friendly and made us feel welcome. The walk was manageable for anyone with decent mobility and fitness and took in terrific vantage points and photo ops.
I can’t recommend this trip highly enough - the perfect escape from the heat and bustle of the souk for a day of fresh mountain air.

Outstanding trip from Marrakesh up to the stunning Atlas Mountains with excellent driver Hassan - safe, friendly and informative - and walking guide Mustafa, who was patient, helpful and happy to share his culture. The walk was manageable and took in some wonderful sights. Tea in his sister’s home in a mountain village. I would heartily recommend this trip as a great escape from the city for a day. 100%

We would highly recommend this wonderful trip into the mountains and the village of Imlil.
Our driver Hassan was friendly and an extremely competent driver along the mountain hairpins! Such a wonderful journey with opportunities to stop and take photos of the beautiful Snow capped Toubkal mountain.
When we arrived at Imlil we were greeted by our lovely guide Moustapha. He walked at a good pace for our group, waiting when we needed a photo break, or to catch our breathe. He took photos of us along the way and at the waterfalls. We then took another, less touristy path to our lunch stop at a super restaurant with a terrace, where we sat in the sun eating a delicious chicken tangine ( vegetable option available) and fruit dessert.
Moustapha was a wonderful guide, friendly, knowledgeable and he made sure that everyone in the group was happy and comfortable with the walking pace etc.
The comfortable taxi ride home had us all snoozing, once we had finished taking in all the amazing sights once again for the return journey.
A day of peace and calm after the chaos of Marrakech. Highly recommended!

Our driver Mustafa picked us up as arranged in his very comfortable car and we set off up to the mountains stopping along the way to take photos and visit a local aargon oil co-oprative. He played us traditional berber music on our journey to set the mood and was a great driver on the very narrow roads.
We had a fantastic day treck with our guide Mustafa who lead us through the mountains at a nice steady pace, taking breaks as we needed and giving us lots of interesting information about the sites along the route. The route is rocky in places and fairly steep, so good shoes are recommended. We passed by beautiful waterfalls and rivers, berber villages, and we were blessed to be invited into his family home for tea and biscuits ❤️ The hike takes about 2 hours before a delicious lunch on a rooftop restaurant to enjoy the stunning views, they even accommodated our vegetarian diet. Highly recommended both Mustafa the driver and Mustafa the guide, they were a true highlight of our trip to Morroco.

This was a wonderful tour from start to finish. We were picked up on time and our driver was friendly. After a couple of stops we arrived at the starting point for the hike. Our hiking guide Mustafa was fantastic throughout! He was really informative and never hurried us so the walk was really enjoyable. After visiting the Waterfall Mustafa took us to Berber village to have tea with his family before walking to a restaurant for a great lunch. The excursion was excellent and I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing tour! Hassan was a very good driver, we made multiple stops to take pictures and to visit an organ oil cooperative, it was very interesting.
The hike with our guide was easy, and the landscape incredible.

The trip was amazing!!! Our guide hicham was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us to see the waterfalls and we had a short trek followed by a traditional lunch which was very tasty and filling in a Berber restaurant. I would highly recommend hicham as he was very helpful and polite!!! He even carried my bag and helped myself and my family over the tricky bits of terrain. An experience we will never forget.

We had excellent communication from our driver Hassan and he arrived in good time to collect us and drove us expertly up to the mountains. Our walking guide was also great and we had an excellent and good value for money lunch. Overall the trip made a nice contrast to our days in Marrakesh and was very good value. I would highly recommend this tour.
