We liked Plazza de Armas, Palacio de la moneda and the cerro Sta Luzia.

Renee, our guide had a great knowledge of the area and landmarks. He expanded on the simple look and see with dates, names and impact of the persons these landmarks represent. The site themselves, Plaza de Armas which includes the Cathedral and La Moneda are great. It was a bonus to have the presidential caravan pass while there.

Great introduction to Santiago, both downtown and environs. From watching the changing of the guard at Casa de la Moneda to taking the funicular up up up Cero San Cristobol to visiting the giant Virgen (where you can buy a glow in the dark Mary statuette - easy to pack) and view the city smog. Don't miss the enormous inflatable blue monkey and the mummified children (boys have red faces, girls blue)! We had a great time wandering around the shops and gardens of los Dominicanos, we even met a famous Chilean artist at her exposition.
Remember to tell the guide what your interests are at the beginning of the tour and they'll take care of the rest.

Even if the guide tried his very best to make it a pleasant tour the trip was not worth it. The guide's English was quite rusty so we used google translator to understand what was asked in English. So we decided to stop the tour one hour earlier as schedueld so we could enjoy the rest of the tour on our own.

There is simply no show. They supposed to pick me up from the hotel, but never came. No one answer the phone either.
Viator could not help because they didn’t answer calls. I requested refund and are still waiting.
