We were supposed to do this trip, but received a WhatsApp text 15 minutes after our scheduled pickup time, informing us they had to cancel our trip, as other travelers had cancelled and their boat was not full. We were offered a refund, which we took and which has been approved.
(The story has a happy ending. Our concierge at our hotel, Jafferji House, made a phone call and got us on the same tour through a different local sponsor. The trip is a blast!)

Oh wow, great activity, typical boat trip, even if the engine is used. Stop on a sand dune with apnea, everything is aquatic fauna (leave starfish other in the sea, look with your eyes). Really great with fresh fruit served. Then stop on the neighboring island, seafood barbecue oh yum and typical shopping.
One last stop Lagune, correct
And back, we were with lots of people from other countries, it was really good and pleasant.

Lovely day trip. Amazing Crew. Massive Thk u to Sahid because of his help I managed to do snorkeling fr the first time. The lunch was lovely. Overall had a fab time.

Amazing places, and a great lunch.
Unfortunately it’s been quite a chaotic experience, with a lot of delays and dead time. There wasn’t any snorkeling equipment provided, and it was quite crowded. Our guide did his best working with all these delays and we really appreciated it.

Wow this is an experience not to miss. Guides provide snorkels and flippers (take your own if you squirmish). Boat/Dhow ride take you to an small island where you get to snorkel & swim with the jellyfish (harmless but terrifying, well worth the laugh) hang around for a bit laying on the beach with fruits and drinks provided. Then ride further on to the mangroves to snorkel and see the coral in 1m deep water with platforms/jettys for entertainment and to take pictures. After the Dhow goes out to the sea for a real snorkeling experience where you see the beautiful coloured fish and reef that you see on TV, its absolutely amazingly beautiful. If you lucky tou get to swim with the dolphins which we did. This is soo amazing its emotional how they swim right up to you and swoosh past soo close. Unforgettable!!! From there you go to another small island to have a huge lunch with music and a bar along a beautiful strip of beach where you can shop, laze about, eat some more, drink, dance and make memories. This is one excursion that's a definite must!!!

We enjoyed this shared trip, it was a great experience. The crew was so helpful. Also, we saw some dolphins on the way to the Sandbank.
The special part is swimming in the lagoon. The lagoon surrounded by beautiful mangroves, with calm, and cleanest water.
Also, the food was nice, we enjoyed the seafood.

Pickup on time from our hotel in Nungwi, After we arrived we took a Dhow and go to the Sandbank, at the Sandbank we enjoyed the Fruits then after we did snorkel, it was nice snorkeling experience as we did saw so many fishes.
The best part was the Lagoon, it was so beautiful, the water was so calm, surrounded with mangroves, we enjoyed swimming there. Also the seafood was extremely delicious.
