Heidiland and Liechtenstein Tour from Zurich

Shopping for souvenirs... this trip is really nothing but a ride to another place. I wouldn't recommend it.

Seemed like the majority just wanted to get to Liechtenstein, but we spent less than an hour there. The drive is very beautiful the mountains and lakes. Heidi land was a part of the tour. As someone less familiar with the 144 year old book, o could’ve skipped heidiland and just went to Lichtenstein.

Must see Alps and Heidiland is worth the visit, very memorable for our kids, goats/cows etc on site. They start at a small town Rapperswil to show you their church, famous rose gardens, and get a lunch. Then the Alps, and conclude in Lichenstein which is more for shopping, ice cream, and if you want the country passport stamp. Guided tour discussion mainly on bus so you have the time to see the sites on your own.

The best trip I had in Switzerland! What a fantastic day!
Our amazing guide was Walter, and alongside with the great driver Giuseppe, they made a fantastic team, leading us to some of the most beautiful places in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Walter shared so much information with us, and was super helpful and friendly, answering all our questions in a comprehensive and kind way.
The balance between guided tour and free time was perfect.
As a solo traveler, I was also able to meet travelers from different parts of the world, and surprisingly the group was pretty small, which allowed us to have interesting personal conversations with the guide and communicate between each other.
A big plus was the WiFi on the bus (worked perfectly).
I loved every moment of the trip and warmly recommend you to book it! (If you’re lucky, you’ll get Walter as your guide)

Great Lake views and Alps, we had a nice lunch time, no rush.. that was great because very few tours give you the time just to relax. Lot of great pictures.

Beautiful trip through the mountains- the scenery was stunning ! Rapperswil was a quaint little town, Heidiland was exactly what you pictured from the book.

Heidiland was actually very beautiful. We took this tour so that I could add another country to my list, Liechtenstein, so heidiland was just an extra. We did not pay to go in the houses but really enjoyed all the great views and petting the animals. Lietchenstein was a cute very modern stop. We ate at an Italian spot and were able to quickly eat pizza.

There was not much to see or experience. Three stops: Rapperswil, Heidiland, Liechtenstain is a 30 minute stop at a tiiny town square, with a few post-modern sculptures. Heidiland is another short stop that is a park with several farm houses, and you have to pay a fee to visit them. Rapperswill, on the other hand, is a small charminig town worthy of a quick visit. Overall, it is a lot of driving along some scenic roads, but the advertised destinations were disappointingly underwhelming. You should save the money and have more satisfaction just roam around Lake Zurich instead.

The tour was so fun! Highly recommend re-reading Heidi before the trip. Bring your passport along for a stamp in Liechtenstein as well. The bus was fun, the tour was lovely and so fun!
