The tour of Teotihuacan with Jorge was fantastic - he set the scene brilliantly for the amazing site and his detailed knowledge of both the history and how the archaeologists actually determined our latest knowledge were so insightful. Without him, we'd have enjoyed the site but would have understood a fraction of the context that he could provide, and it was great how he adapted to our questions and interests. Sometimes we're reluctant to splash out on a tour, but this was absolutely worth every penny getting to speak to someone with personal experience working in the field!

Over a week we went on four separate tours around different Mesoamerican sites and sadly the other three tours did not compare to our tour with David. The tour was informative, down to Earth and stepping away from the pyramids to view one of the nearby palaces really puts the sheer size and importance of this site into perspective. David has an excitement being here that can't be replicated by non experts and he can answer any question you may have about what we know of this site and the surrounding region.
The contrast in knowledge you will experience listening to other, nearby guides at the site, compared to David's explanations of the buildings and people who lived here is striking. Everyone who joined our tour, both family and friends- some of whom had been here on past tours, were captivated the entire time. I'm happy that this was the highlight of our trip and this was the most worthwhile guided tour you can experience.

Our archaeology tour with David (The Young Archeologist, @un_joven_arquelogo) was incredible and the highlight of our trip to Mexico City. If you can, explicitly request him for your tour. It was such a treat to have an actual expert walk us through one of the most incredible archeological sites in the world. David brought so much knowledge, passion, and fun to our day in Teotihuacan. Beyond an incredible explanation of the pyramids, David takes you to the palaces outside of the main site. We learned so much and loved every minute with David!

Our tour guide Jorge was fabulous. He was extremely knowledgeable. He was also very enthusiastic as he described the history , the architecture, and the paintings. He took us exactly to the places we most wanted to see. We could not have been happier.
We recommend him highly.

Our archaeology tour with David was the highlight of our trip to Mexico City. He is more than a tour guide. He is a full-fledged archaeologist who brings so much knowledge, depth and passion to the tour. It's not listed on the original offering but be sure to ask for an expanded tour where David picks you up and takes you the palaces. These sites were actually the highlight of the day. All credit goes to David, one of the best guides we've had anywhere in the world. Thank you, David!
