There is so much to see in the areas around Ubud. Our guides are from this area and have intimate knowledge of the special places along this route. The Ubud Bike Tour Travels through traditional villages and stops at numerous Temples. We also visit Tegallalang the world famous Rice Terraces.
We like this Bali cycling eco tours to be interactive , and what you see can very from day to day. If it is rice harvesting season, we will stop and participate in the harvest. If it’s kite flying season, we will watch the people as they launch their favorite kites. Sometimes there are ceremonies taking place. Sometimes we stop to talk to a farmer about what he does in the rice fields. This is where you really get an understanding of the Balinese daily life and our experienced guides bring you righ to it.

I had a great time on the tour! There were only five of us which made the tour feel more intimate and we were able to customize some things that we wanted to do. Overall highly recommend!

I loved all of it: the breakfast with mountain views, the cycling among the rice terrases, all the stops and explanations given by our guide Katek, the general pace, and the quiet+delicious lunch!!
Just note that you need to feel a minimum of confidence on a bike: some parts are off road and quite narrow, even if totally doable :-)

Really nice and well-balanced tour.
Highlights were the spider challenge, the home visit, a dropby at an art shop, and generally just the beautiful views on the route which included different types of villages and forest.
The degree of difficulty was great for us - expect some challenging / steep parts but generally easy if you are used to cycling.

We had the best day out on this tour. Our guide Kartik was incredibly warm, helpful and enthusiastic and we learnt so much about Balinese culture whilst enjoying a fantastic day out discovering the countryside. If you want to get off the beaten track for a day and see the real Bali, this tour is for you. Plus, it's super fun whizzing through villages and navigating rice paddies on a bike! Look out for potholes, dogs and chickens in the road!

Whole trip ran smoothly. Exceeded expectations. Guide awesome. Wonderful scenery. Really got up close with the rural communities. So much fun biking thru the rice fields. Lunch with the family at the end was superb. Recommend 150%

We did the downhill bike tour with Love Bali Bike Tours at the end of March. The guides picked us up on time, we drove via Tegallang to Kintamani, where we had a wonderful view of Lake Batur from a restaurant. We then cycled through traditional villages and across fields. It was a fantastically beautiful tour. We didn't meet any other tourists, stopped often and the friendly guides explained a lot about the country and its people. At the end we had a great lunch in the boss's beautiful garden. We found the tour itself to be quite challenging - our family is between 10 and 70 years old, all sporty - everything was very well organized, unfortunately the bikes were no longer up to date. Overall it was a highly recommended tour, especially for travelers who want to experience the real Bali.

This tour was amazing. The guides were so lovely. We had a great journey up to Kintamani, stopping at the rice terraces, had the most beautiful view of Mount Batur over breakfast. We cycled through the most beautiful places, stopping at some local houses and shops. We then had lunch prepared by the family and it was delicious. I cannot recommend this enough. Beautiful scenery, fantastic food, and great guides. Absolutely perfect
