I'm Katia and me and my uncle Fulvio run the Tuscan cooking class in our family farmhouse. We are 4 km far from the fantastic town of San Gimignano and we teach you how to prepare a real Tuscany meal but most important we teach you how the food should taste. Your meal will be a celebration and a fantastic time to spent in a real Tuscany family.
We'll make a lot of typical Tuscany antipasti, then we prepare primi piatti, and we make one type of pasta hand made, two different sauces for pasta, and then a second course with meat.

Our hosts were so knowledgeable! They taught us to make pici and two types of sauces. We also made an awesome bruschetta, panzanella, and chicken with prosciutto. The wine was great, as were a variety of aged cheeses. Fulvio worked easily with all seven of us in both a prep room and in the kitchen, and then we ate in a lovely dining area.

The class was very fun and the instructor was personable and knowledgeable. There were two young boys in the class that she was great with. The food was delicious as was the wine. We left with our bellies full and a couple new dishes to make at home.

Katia was amazing. She taught us how to make pici pasta, 2 sauces, bruschetta, and chicken scaloppini. She was so engaging. It was a fabulous night. I would highly recommend it!

Fulvio was great. He explained how to prepare and cook the foods of Tuscany and also why the recipes had developed over time. The people of Tuscany using what was at hand to make delicious food. He loves sharing a way of life.
