Guests will be assigned a departure time to Alcatraz Island and a same day visit to Muir Woods, Golden Gate, and Sausalito. This one day excursion gets you three iconic attractions on our family style road trip! Enjoy a hybrid of Tv and driver narration of the Golden Gate Bridge and famous Alcatraz Escapes!

Assigned by us: 70+ minutes at Muir Woods
20+ minutes in Sausalito (subject to weather/timing issues)
$10 brunch credit to a vendor of our choosing
Your tour time will be assigned as early as 6:45am or as late as 5:00pm. We reserve the right to designate what bus or days order of operations. Guests do not choose their time or order of activities.
On select dates: guests will end this tour in Sausalito and sent by included Sausalito Ferry back to Pier 41. They will then walk to Pier 33 from Pier41.
On select dates: Guests will start at Pier 33, ride the included ferry to Sausalito to start Muir Woods portion.

Can't rate this highly enough - look for the options to get the early morning tour of Muir Woods. It will hurt getting up early, but it's worth it for the serenity of the forest before the bigger numbers arrive. All of the stops have good amounts of time (keep moving steadily at the Golden Gate but we got to the first Pylon, plus brunch by ordering something easy). Alcatraz is amazing, the audio tour is very well put together. Again thankyou driver James! This tour is highly recommended!

Highly recommended this tour. I found James’ tour by a Google search when I couldn’t get Alcatraz tickets for the only day I would be in San Francisco. I booked it and wasn’t sure what to expect. And let me tell you, James is awesome and this tour exceeded my expectations. Don’t think about it just book it.

James is a great tour guide! This was a great bundle option that was very convenient and reasonably priced. Not to mention, we were able to still obtain Alcatraz tickets when they weren't available on the official website. Muir woods was great, given ample time to explore all the places we were taken to. Brunch also good. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed the locations we visited and James’ charisma made it all the better. Throughout the drive, he shared his knowledge of the beautiful city and its scenery. The one thing that didn’t make this tour over the top was the limited amount of time we got at the scheduled locations. I would’ve liked to have spent more time at the woods and bridge, but otherwise, it was a great tourist experience!

This was a great way to visit all the highlights of San Francisco in a short amount of time. James has a very comfortable 14 passenger van, with a large screen monitor located up front in order to play some very interesting documentaries regarding the golden gate bridge and Alcatraz. He starts the tour by showing us places of interest in the fisherman’s wharf area such as the old cannery and a very marshy area where people live in house boats. We then travel over the GGB and up into the Muir Woods. We spent about an hour and half walking all around and seeing the majestic trees that thousands of years old.
I was very impressed. Then we went to Sausalito for very short time due to traffic and need to stay on schedule for Alcatraz. We stopped at the GGB on the way back to get some great photo ops! Then it was on to Alcatraz, the highlight of the day! I was so impressed with Alcatraz tour, they audio recording was so realistic, I could actually feel like I was a prisoner back in the day! The weather was perfect, sunny and cool and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone! Thanks for the wonderful time, even though you almost left me at the hotel in the beginning!! Lol!

Our family really enjoyed the tour. We had the early morning Muir tour which was absolutely amazing to have the entire park to ourselves!!! James was very informative and had lots of great information and history to share. Great experience all the way around.

Muir Woods was so beautiful and peaceful. Our tour guide James got us there before all the crowds. James also gave us great information on Alcatraz throughout our trip that was so helpful when we were actually there.
