Great tour. Highly recommend it. We were concerned about the dress code but it was not very strict. Going early was good to avoid the crowds. Our guide was very knowledgeable. We would do it again.

Amazing place to visit. Helpful guide with great knowledge and good English. Really described the palace and its garden and history. Nicely paced to give us chance to look and take pictures.

You need to book tickets before you go as we stayed for 5 nights and could only get tickets for the last day we were there!! If you want to look in the royal quarters they are booked until mid July!! Best to plan ahead to avoid disappointment. Gardens were stunning.

We booked and confirmed this “early access” (before it opens to the public) more than a month in advance. With the 9:15am start time, we also booked our entry tickets for the cathedral at 11:30am.

Despite being nonrefundable, Amigo Tours sent an email 2days before, at 5:45pm, telling us they could not do the tour at 9:15am because the guide had a medical appointment. But they were pleased to offer us a tour starting at 10:45 (no early access and conflicts with our separate 11:30 tour of the cathedral).

We asked if we could have the tickets and go ourselves at 9:15. Or any day for the next 5 days. No. They could only offer the original tour 11 days later.

We then spent an hour, with an independent guide, trying to change our entry time for the cathedral so that we could join the Alcazar tour at 10:45.

We successfully did so and showed up early for the 10:45 tour. Our guide was late (not too bad, maybe 5 minutes) due to “traffic” - which did not stop the 10 or 12 guests from arriving on time.

Our guide confirmed the company was lying and they “always change” the start time. In short, they didn’t buy tickets for early access. Ours guide was available at 9:15, but the company had no tickets for us.

I almost never leave a bad review, preferring to say nothing if a tour is bad. But, please don’t sign up for this unbelievably unprofessional and terrible tour.

Hector was a funny, intelligent and outgoing tour guide. The tour is beautiful, but it was enhanced by his vast knowledge. Throughout the tour he had little gems of knowledge. His personality also made the tour engaging and fun. We really enjoyed the tour because Hector did an excellent job.

Amazing historical exposure that is visually stunning. The guide did an excellent job of the key historical points of both the Alcazar and Cathedral.

A tour started an hour late, they were finally able to get a substitute whose English was extremely difficult to understand. What made it worse was that we were fast walking through the whole tour, many areas were skipped because of the lateness. We were suppose to tour three places and only made it to three in the alloyed tour time.

I had a extremely unpleasent expierence as my booking was cancelled without any explaination within less than 24 hours.

Our family flew from the US to Spain for the spring break week, only 3 days in Serville so I had plans for each day. When I booked this tour through Viator, this tour was only available on April 2 (Both April 1 and 3 were unavailable) so I booked it. (Also I had booked a day tour to Granada on April 3rd so April 2nd worked for our schedule perfectly)

Then April 1st, at 11:08AM, "Amigo Tours Europe and USA" sent a meesage on Whats APP, notifying the tour on next day (April 2nd) is cancelled "due to an unforseen logistical incident). and offered me an alternative date (April 3rd).

Since we were out sightseeing during the day, I found out the message only at 7:58pm in the evening. Lo and behold, the office is closed for the day and no one responded to my message from that point.

This was very frustrating to us for many reasons,
1. "Amigo Tours Europe and USA" should not have assumed I am a regular WhatsAPP user (and in fact I am not) and sent the cancellation in WhatsAPP in less than 24 hour notice!

2. We have a very limited time in Seville and fact that the cancellation was so late made me imposible to book any tour to Alcazar and the Cathedral for April 2nd. And I could not switch to their proposed April 3rd due to the Granada tour conflict.

3. Then on the evening of April 1st, I realized that I could not book any online tickets to neither the Alcazar nor the Cathedral for April 2nd. I messaged in WhatsAPP "Amigo Tours Europe and USA" if they can offer me just the entry tickets (not tour) hoping they could offer something.

4. "Amigo Tours Europe and USA" never responded, even on the morning of April 2nd after their office is supposed to open at 7am. I had to call them and was told they didn't have any tickets (of course!). Almost hopeless, I walked to the Alcazar ticket office and stood in line for 1 hour. Luckily, we got 4 entry tickets in the afternoon to vist the Alcazar.

5. Since the Cathedral tour was also cancelled as part of this combined tour and no same day tickets are available, I had to buy the Cathedral tickets only availabe on 12:50pm April 4th. Due to this change, I had to repurchase my family's train tickets to Madrid at 4pm. The original tickets at 1pm were not refundable so 94.7 euros ended up wasted, the new tickets at 4pm were sustatially more expensive (189.6 euros)

Overall, the extreamly short-noticed cancellation from "Amigo Tours Europe and USA" messed up our plan in Seville and cost us emotional frustration, schedule disruption and financial loss. Visiting the Alcazar and Cathedral is indeed great experience and I highly recommend poeple with limited time in Seville NOT to risk it with "Amigo Tours Europe and USA"

Héctor was great! Very friendly and answered all our questions. It was very rainy when we went but still had a wonderful experience. So much history to take in and it got me more interested to know the other side of the story ( the side of the native Americans). This tour is not to be missed!!
