We were picked up from Naples in an minivan with air con, which was amazing. We were taken to the stables and our tour guide made an active effort to talk to us. Our tour was amazing and took about 1.5 hours as we did do a lot of trotting and cantering. I’ve ridden before but my partner hadn’t, yet he managed to hold his own. The style was different to what I’ve done before as it was western style , yet the experience was worth it, and out your guide helped with the differences. The only thing that worried me was the lack of helmets, as anything can happen, but even so, the horses we rode were very placid and tended to follow the lead of our tour guide. When we were halfway through we stopped off to allow the horses a bit of a break, and our guide offered us some background info about Vesuvius, and pompei. Throughout the entire ride we had photos and videos taken which were later sent to us. When we got back to the stables we were offered some lovely refreshments and wine from our guides farm! Which both was delicious.
Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and we would have booked again if we weren’t leaving so soon.

The staff was nice and accommodating. I had never ridden a horse before, but they made it a wonderful experience and explained what to do.

One of the best experiences ever…Robert and all the team were incredibly friendly helpful and fun.lovely horses /breathtaking views and a 5star experience!!! Recommend without a doubt !!!

The tour was amazing. Views were phenomenal, Roberto was an amazing tour guide and told us lots about the city, the history, the volcano, etc. really memorable experience.

We booked our journey with Roberto and his uncle for our last day of holiday in Sorrento.
I can only say that it was by far the most incredible part of our holiday. Roberto came to pick us all up by car, a short walk from a train station. He is affable, enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable. We felt safe, cared for and so many times overwhelmed by the incredible experience of the horse ride.
While we waited at the stables for things being prepared, we were made very welcome and could see well kept well looked after horses.
Children are well looked after with riding hats and being safely tethered to either Roberto's horse or his Uncle's. So are never on the horseback without guidance.
All the way through Roberto would give us advice on 'leaning back' or directing the horse with reigns at particular points of the terrain. So even though we had a very experienced rider in our group too - there was no judgement or failure to help us as far less experienced/beginners!!!!!
The views are indescribable as you negotiate narrow pathways for only the horses. The peace, the views and working with the horse is a fantastic experience.
Roberto took pictures of us, gave us a very interesting talk half way when we stopped to rest the horses. We were moved beyond belief. For us what sets this apart is not just that you are literally going two thirds of the way up a volcano on horseback, but the utter dedication of Roberto and his Uncle. It is evident that they love what they do even though it is hard work. Thank you so much all of you involved in making this an experience we'll never forget!

This guy is a legend. He picked us up from Naples. Descriptions and punctuality was perfect.
Took us horse back riding up mount Vesuvius, with a history lesson and recommendations along the way. Then chauffeured us around privately in his beautiful clean ultra modern Mercedes van to Pompeii. Waited for us for hours then picked us up again after our visit and took us right to the front door of the Airport in time for our flight.
Our trip to Naples was rough as guts and if is wasn’t for Roberto’s tour and extras on our final day we would have been miserable. He saved our trip 😊

My granddaughters are horse mad and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent in the stables speaking to the horses. The leading guide was good but did not speak English. The second guide made some fantastic memories on the phone for us recording some videos. My only negative comment would be that the ride was short and didn’t go off a well worn track.
