This was an excellent tour which included a full day in Petra. Ramouni was an excellent driver and guide. He had an extensive knowledge of the country and its history and kept us amused on the long car journeys. We also had interesting discussions about family, religion and politics. He loves traditional music. Thanks for a great holiday.

Unique and great experience of Jordan. Already missing the morning coffee and treats our driver and guide Nazzal offered every morning. His network and knowledge second to none. Very flexible with our requests. The experience itself: I won't spoil it for you! You have to take it to believe it.
Decided to stay a few extra days in Amman on our own. Location and Hotel, Lina Manzour, our agency contact arranged it for us was great. Close to amenities.

We had the most amazing time traveling with this company in Jordan! Highly recommend all the tours included, especially the Dead Sea, Petra and Wadi Rum. The company was very helpful with hotel bookings and other questions, before arrival and during our stay. Everything was perfect!

We had a very good experience with this tour. Our driver, Firas, was excellent. He was always on time, described the tour plans for the day and gave good information about the sites we were visiting. He also facilitated the entrance and initial contact with site guides in the places that had them, as well as providing assistance with just about anything we needed. He was also fun to be around and made the trip very enjoyable.
As for the tour itself: We were met at the airport by a tour representative, who facilitated the visa and passport paperwork and then accompanied us to the hotel. This all worked great.
We selected the “premium” accommodations (stated as 4/5 star) hotels. In Amman, we stayed at the Bristol Hotel. The hotel is somewhat older but quite nice and the included breakfast and dinners were very good. Visits to Jerash and the Dead Sea were great (I think Jerash is amazingly well conserved). The panoramic visit to Amman is just that: a drive around the city. Whereas you do visit sites like the citadel and downtown, the tour does not allow for time to enter the sites and spend time there. If you want to do it, you have to do it on your own. This was not a major problem but I think it should be made clearer in the tour description.
The trip to Petra included stops are Mt Nebo, Madaba and Shoback, which were interesting. Our accommodations in Petra were at the Mövenpick Resort, which is very conveniently located across the street from the entrance to the Petra park. The hotel and the buffet food were excellent (we did have to pay an extra $320 for this hotel when we booked our tour as the “standard” accommodations in Petra were sold out). On the day we arrived we did the Petra by night visit (and extra 17 JD) that was great. The following day visit to Petra included an excellent guide that was with us for three hours walking the site and then we had ample time to explore on our own. We had a great time.
Next, we travelled to Wadi Rum. We checked in at the Sun City camp in a “tent” that had A/C and a private bathroom and a comfortable bed. For a small extra charge (30 JD for 2 people) we extended the included 2 Hr 4WD tour to 4 hours which ended at sunset and it was great. Dinner at the camp included the traditional bedouin zarb and it was excellent. In the morning we did a sunrise camel ride and it was great. These extra activities were offered (with no pressure) by our driver, Firaz, and he made the arrangements for them to happen smoothly.
We then traveled to Aqaba, we wanted to make some changes to our last night accommodations and the tour operator (Zaid travel) was flexible and willing to make the changes for nominal charges. The hotel assigned was the Grand Tala Bay Resort. The hotel is not in the downtown/hotel area of Aqaba but rather 20 minutes away in the “south beach” area. This suited us very well, but younger travelers may want to be closer to the busy downtown, although the hotel offered a shuttle. Unfortunately, the experience at this hotel was disappointing and the reason we are giving 4 rather than 5 stars to the tour. We were assigned a room that was not very clean and the shower had mold stains in several places. I took pictures and went to the reception to ask to be moved to another room. Instead, they dispatched the housekeeping to clean the shower, which helped but did not fully solved the problem. When I later tried to take a shower, there was no hot water and the shower did not drain properly so I was standing in an inch of accumulated cold water. I contacted the tour operator and told them I was going to ask for a change in room the following day (we had extended our stay to 2 days before arriving). When I did, they again tried to send someone to “fix the problem” rather than just changing the room. Upon our insistence they did give us a new room that appeared to be an upgrade (had ocean view) and it was cleaner. The tour operator also called the hotel just a few minutes after we had been moved. Unfortunately, we still did not manage to get hot water for a shower at the end of the day. This is a shame as it was the only low point in an otherwise great trip. The hotel’s pools and beach facilities are actually quite nice but it seems that an originally luxury hotel has fallen on hard times and is in need of repairs and renovations.
In summary, the tour itinerary was an efficient way to visit Jordan and, not speaking any Arabic ourselves, having a driver/guide with us at all times was essential. Our group was just the two of us and another couple. We traveled in a comfortable van, everything was done according to plan and the driver made every effort to ensure a pleasant experience. The tour operator was reasonable responsive and flexible and, with the exception of the last hotel, the organization was exactly as described.

We absolutely loved this trip and are already planning our next trip to Jordan. Our guide, Firas was fantastic and we couldn't fault him. He treated us like family and made our trip even better.
Our hotel in Amman - Mena Tyche was lovely. We had a beautiful room and made use of the pool and gym facilities. The buffet food wasn't the best quality but there was a fresh counter where you could get omelettes and pancakes for breakfast or pasta for dinner and this was great.
Our hotel in Petra - Petra Corner was by far the worst hotel of our trip. We lost water on our last day in the whole hotel, the food options were very limited but tasted quite nice, and it wasn't a clean hotel. This was probably the only negative of the entire trip, but luckily we did not spend much time in this hotel.
Our tent in Sun City was the highlight of our accomodation. It was glamping to the max in the most beautiful surroundings, the food was the best we had all trip and all the staff were wonderful.
Our hotel in Aqaba - My hotel had very friendly staff and a lovely rooftop pool with amazing panoramic views.

The activities we did were fantastic, we did plenty of extras that Firas recommended such as a Turkish Spa after our full day in Petra - this was definitely needed and a completely new experience for us but we loved it.
We also did Petra by night which was a unique and beautiful experience.
The 4 hour jeep tour in Wadi Rum was probably the highlight of our whole trip. The landscape was incredible and we had a lovely local guide called Abdullah who made us all tea at sunset and drove us around the dessert which he could have done with his eyes closed. A two hour trip is included in the tour but without a doubt you have to upgrade to the four hour.
We did a sunrise camel ride at Wadi Rum as well which was a very enjoyable experience.
In Aqaba we had a glass bottomed boat tour so we could see all the coral in the bay and that was a lovely was to enjoy the beach.

The activities that were included were also amazing. We had a panoramic tour of Amman so we could see the highlights of the city and try local foods from the markets. Visiting Jerash is a must do for any history lovers as this was a whole Roman town beautifully preserved and it was full of history and such a beautiful place to visit. Floating in the dead sea was such a unique and memorable experience that you can't miss. Petra was incredible and the local tour guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. The night in Wadi Rum was unforgettable and the trip to Aqaba rounded off our trip beautifully. And there were so many more stops along our journey that I could talk your ear off about.

We also had a lovely group, there were six of us and we got on like a house on fire! We made a group WhatsApp to share photos and made some great memories and friends.

I would definitely use this company again (with Firas as our guide of course) and I would definitely visit Jordan again. This is the perfect one week taster for Jordan and I know you will leave wanting to come back and do so much more as it is the most beautiful and wonderful country.

The best recommendations from the 8 Danish travellers, touring beautiful Jordan in January. Hotels were excellent, planning and logistics perfect, but most of all Bassam, our guide, turned it all into the experience of a lifetime. We`ll be back. Beautiful, friendly Jordan is a marvellous place to visit. Even in January!

I am so grateful for Tripadvisor reviews, because we found 'theeeeee best' tour company in Jordan, like the absolute best. We were met at the airport by a representative from the company, and after a 16 hour flight, we were happy to be brought to the hotel booked by Zaid. We settled in and the next day met the tour guide for our 9 day tour. If you are lucky enough to have Hasan as your guide, you will have met the best there is. He is the most incredible guide, historian, storyteller, foodie, and all around compassionate person. I wish I had the passion for my work as he has for his! He loved showing us all the hidden, secret spots of Jordan, while also introducing us to the magic of Jerash, Amman, Petra, Bethany, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea. Unfortunately, I fell sick for our last two days, and he was gracious and kind, helping us get medicine and taking us to a drive up COVID lab so I didn't have to get out and wait in a clinic. So you know he loves his work and is amazing at it, and, he is an incredible ambassador for Jordan. He shared stories and history, and we felt like we really *knew* the country in a way we didn't know other places we had traveled. He shared his love for Wadi Rum and we saw it in a way we would have never seen it before. He also arranged for us to have a desert trek and picnic lunch on the ridge of a dune, overlooking the Wadi from up high. We felt like we were on Mars, and our awesome Wadi Rum host took us to the rock that Matt Damon sat on in the movie The Martian - which was filmed at his camp (make sure you stay in the Martian bubble tents). Hasan made sure to get the best coffees for my husband every morning, and he even bought me some local cakes to try because he said I needed something too :) His car was spacious and immaculate, I think it's almost brand new since there were still bits of protective plastic on some areas. He kept our bags safe when we went exploring, he kept us safe on the roads and in the cities, and he was always nearby to make everything better. I'm sure there are many great guides at Zaid, we actually saw a few as we criss-crossed the easy-to-navigate country, but without question, Hasan is the best they have. If you get him for your tour, tell him we say hi!

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful and packed 8 day tour of Jordan which included Amman, Jerash, the desert castles, Madaba, Mount Nebo, Dana Biosphere Reserve, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba and the Dead Sea.
Our driver and guide for the tour, Hasan, was exceptional throughout. Right from the onset he made us feel welcome in his home country, which he is clearly passionate about. He was extremely friendly, helpful and courteous at all times and was willing to tailor the tour to suit our needs.
This was our first trip to Jordan, so we enjoyed many conversations with Hasan about it’s history and culture. His English is perfect and his many years of experience shone through with his in-depth knowledge of each of our destinations. He was very organised and arranged all the details for each attraction in advance so that we never had any delays and were able to maximise our time at each site. In addition, whenever we stopped for lunch he ensured that we experienced some of the best authentic local dishes - fast food was definitely off the menu! He also introduced us to one of the best desserts we’ve ever tasted, in downtown Amman. His car is new, comfortable and clean, and each day he kept us supplied with cold bottles of water.
One of the highlights of our trip was Wadi Rum, a truly magical place, where we enjoyed a four hour off-road tour of the desert landscape, including a stop in the shade for lunch, prepared by Saad, our driver and guide for this part of the trip. This was followed by a camel ride to watch the sunset over the desert, an experience not to be missed, before a wonderful dinner at Sun City Camp where we spent the night. Other highlights on the trip were Petra (an archaeological wonder), trekking at the Dana Reserve, snorkelling over the coral in Aqaba and floating in the Dead Sea.
We thoroughly recommend Zaid Tours, and particularly our driver and guide Hasan, to anyone who wants to visit the wonderful country of Jordan.
