If you've chosen the self-drive option, don't worry - before you hit the road, Francesco will make sure you're comfortable with your scooter during a test drive. With your safety ensured, it's time to rev up your engine and hit the open road! You'll feel the wind in your hair as you explore the rolling hills and cobbled roads of Rome. Along the way, Francesco will guide you to hidden gems and local hotspots that you might not have discovered on your own.
2. Colosseum
Francesco will make a stop at the iconic Colosseum, one of the most renowned monuments in the world. Here, he will provide you with a fascinating history lesson about this ancient wonder. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to capture the memory forever by taking a picture with your Vespa against the backdrop of the Colosseum. This unique experience combines the thrill of riding a Vespa with the opportunity to learn about the rich history of Rome. Don't miss out on this unforgettable adventure!
3. Trevi Fountain
As your Vespa tour through Rome's city center nears its end, Francesco will take you to your final stop: the iconic Trevi Fountain. Approaching the fountain, you will be struck by the sheer size and grandeur of the structure. The fountain is massive, with intricate carvings and sculptures that tell the story of the Roman god Oceanus and his sea horses. You will learn about the tradition of throwing a coin over your shoulder into the fountain, which is said to bring good luck and ensure that you'll return to Rome one day. 5. Villa Borghese
Throughout the tour, you will have ample opportunities to capture memorable photos of the panoramic views and picturesque settings. 6. Piazza del Popolo
The Piazza del Popolo (meaning The People’s Square) is located inside the northern gate of the city, which was once called Porta Flaminia. The square is situated at the beginning of Via Flaminia and was the main entrance to the city during the Roman Empire.
7. Piazza Navona
You will arrive at Piazza Navona, one of the most beautiful squares in the city. The square is built on the site of the ancient Domitian stadium, and it's filled with history and culture. 8. Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant'Angelo
The Castel Sant’Angelo Rome was originally built as the tomb of Roman Emperor Hadrian in 135 AD. This mausoleum was eventually converted into a military fortress that protected Rome during the Middle Ages. Since then, it has served as the Papal Residence, a prison during the Renaissance era and now, as one of Rome’s museums. 9. Piazzale Garibaldi
If you're lucky enough to book the morning tour at 12 o'clock, Francesco will take you to witness an incredible spectacle - the cannon shot on top of the Janiculum. The cannon shot is a daily tradition that dates back to the 19th century, when it was used to synchronize the clocks of the city. As you approach the Janiculum, you can feel the excitement building. Francesco will take you to one of the most breathtaking fountain in all of Rome - the Fontanone. Located at the top of the Janiculum hill, the Fontanone offers a panoramic view of the entire city. As you will approach the Fontanone, the beauty of the view takes your breath away. You can see the winding Tiber River, the dome of the Pantheon, and the majestic VIttoriano in the distance. Francesco will park the red Vespa, and you take a moment to soak in the view. It's truly one of the best panoramic views of Rome, and you will feel grateful to be experiencing it in such a unique way. Francesco then will offer to take a picture of you with your trusty red Vespa against the stunning backdrop of the Fontanone. You eagerly strike a pose, feeling like a true Roman as the camera clicks.
11. Trastevere
Imagine cruising through the winding streets of Trastevere on the saddle of your own vibrant red Vespa. The sun is shining down on you, casting a warm glow over the pastel-colored palaces and cobblestone roads. As you weave through the backstreets, you feel the breeze in your hair and the excitement of adventure in your heart. As you explore the neighborhood, you can't help but be awestruck by the beauty of the colorful flowers in bloom. • DRIVING REQUIREMENTS
• 1. Scooter Driving Skills: For safety reasons, riders must have prior experience. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
• 2. Driving License: If you have an EU-issued driving license, it must be category A or B. This requirement also applies to the UK, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Israel, and Switzerland.
• 3. International Driving Permit (IDP): Drivers with a non-EU issued license are also required to hold an International Driving Permit.
• 4. Security Deposit: In order to rent the Vespa, a security deposit of €500 is necessary. This can be paid by credit card or in cash. The deposit serves as a guarantee for the loaned Vespa.
• ⚠️Important Notice: If the driver fails to meet our driving requirements, there will be no refund.
• ⚠️Additional Requirement for US Citizens: US citizens must also bring an International Driving Permit issued by the American Automobile Association.

We were so happy to be welcomed by the friendly staff Jonathan at the counter. He made us feel warmly welcomed. The room arranagements were great as we were travelling with friends and family from Singapore. He was so professional and detailed about our resevations and ensured that we were guided properly with the many enjoyable activities and fun treats in the Venetian Macau. Great work.

Fantastic experience! Francesco was great, he gave so much information about every place we stopped, answered any question we had on top of being very personable and pleasant and made the experience even better! He says things that stick with you. Driving around Rome on a Vespa was unique.

My husband and I ended our 3 week Italy adventure in Rome. The last day we did the Vespa tour. It was THE BEST way to end our trip! So much fun and such a great day. Francesco was fun, informative and friendly. My husband drove his our Vespa and I rode along with Francesco. Always felt safe and secure. My husband said he was a clear guide and made him feel safe driving with the Roman traffic. 100% recommend. A must do in Rome!!

Francesco was awesome! We felt safe driving the Vespa all around the city with him. He showed us popular tourist spots as well as some spots that we didn’t really know about. He gave us great historical information. I highly recommend doing this!!
