We booked a private day tour through our hotel. Our driver/guide was friendly and informative. We enjoyed the day so much we asked him to take us to Franschhoek/Stellenbosch the next day. Dillon’s suggestions for wine tasting and lunch were perfect (Boschendal and Ernie Els). Thanks Dillon for two great days

The guide cum driver’s audio commentary was very bad with his low voice, poor audio system, and his mumbling of words. Couldn’t understand the anything. Supposed to be 9 hour tour but finished in 8 hours rushing us at each sights particularly at Cape Point lighthouse. With my wife’s knee pain couldn’t reach and come back in 45 minutes. Should have been an hour. He over charged on penguin view point from displayed rate.

The best and most memorable trip to Cape Town. Dominique was very professional. He arrived at the hotel early to pick me up and explained the history and culture of South Africa to me. I saw the most beautiful coastline during the trip. He arranged the time reasonably and made the whole trip very smooth.

It was organised by our hotel and we had a fantastic day over all .we were picked up at our hotel by a friendly guide and driver .
The whole day was very relaxing from start to finish as we could just sit back and relax .
We visited 5 or 6 different areas including cape of good hope ,cape point and boulders beach (penguins)
Our guide was very friendly and had loads of knowledge .
Scenery was just amazing with breath taking views practically the whole way !
We had lovely fish and chips in simons town for lunch
Definite recommendation for anyone staying in Cape Town just ask your hotel for info on it
Tip :maybe more time at cape of good hope to leave time to visit the top and less time at the harbour we visited as there’s not a whole pile there to see but just my opinion on it
Overall a fantastic experience !

We are so glad we done this tour while we stayed in Cape Town. We were picked up at apx 8.15am from our hotel and we returned at apx 6pm. Our tour guide was Basil and he was amazing! He explained the history of Cape Town so well and he was happy to answer questions. He gave us all a sufficient amount of time to take photos in the various areas and always done a headcount before moving on to the next stop. Great day out!

I booked this tour to see the best of the cape and was not disappointed. There were five of us on the small group tour and that made it a lot of fun. The guide gave a commentary as we drove along the coast road pointing out interesting spots in case we wanted to visit another day. We went to the Cape of Good Hope. You really can't visit Cape Town without visiting this legendary point. Then on to Cape Point where you can ride the funicular if you don't want to walk. Then the amazing Boulder's Penguin Colony where these unique birds are just the other side of the fence to you. Lunch was at a seaside restaurant in Simons Town. Adolph was our excellent driver/guide. He picked us all up at our hotel and dropped us off around 6pm. I enjoyed the day so much that I booked another African Eagle Tour to two wineries for half a day.

I did a full day Cape Peninsula tour. I picked the this tour because the itinerary showed 15 highlights. I assumed that we would be stopping at all 15 highlights, but mostly we just drove by most of the places. We did stop a few times for a view point, but mostly we were in car.
We did stop at Hout Bay (optional seal tour), Cape Good Hope/Cape Point (for lunch, althought we could have used an extra half hour to enjoy this a bit more), Boulder Beach (optional Pengiun sighting), and Kirstenbosch (for a short visit, which for us was less than 45 mins).
After the pick ups, the tour started at 9am. I would suggest to either start earlier, as the distances are quiet big or skip a few highlights. Looking back the entire day felt really rushed. I really wanted to stop at Muizenberg, which we did, but just for 5 mins. And in the end it was at the wrong color houses too. I felt a little bit misleaded, so changing the program will give visitors a better idea of what to expect.
Our guide, Cheryl, was lovely and had good knowledge on the area. She did try to accommodate our wishes.

Great tour that covered a ton of the main sites. It was a full day tour where we saw Hout Bay, Seal Island, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, Boulders Beach/Penguins, Muizenberg Beach, Kirstenbosch Gardens. A lot of add on charges for tickets that we weren’t made aware of before the tour (boat to Seal Island, furnicular to Cape Point, entrance to Boulders Beach). I highly recommend the hike from Cape Point to Cape of Good Hope.

We were picked up from our hotel by Denver our guide for the day. He was so interesting and knowledgeable about the history of Cape Town - how he remembered so many dates of settlers and their names I'll never know! He drove carefully, gave us time at each stop to get a good look around and explained what to look for. On the way to the Cape we stopped at Hout Bay for an optional seal island boat trip which we didn't bother with as saw seals in the V & A docks. We then visited Cape Point, went up the Flying Dutchman funicular, went to the signs at Cape of Good Hope for a photo opportunity (nothing else there) and in the park saw baboons, ostrich and antelope. From there we travelled to Boulders Beach to see the amazing penguins. Before returning to our hotel we had a 30 minute walk around the tree top canopy in Kirstenbosch. Again Denver provided a running commentary on the plants and trees making our short visit informative. Can recommend this tour company
