The tour was very interesting, we were led through a residential area, but mainly through various workshops where we could see how clay pots, clothing, leather products, suitcases, steel cabinets, etc. are made. The laundry was only a short visit and it wasn't that busy in the evening, but it was still interesting.
The guide was very friendly and made the tour interesting.

He explained the slums and surrounding areas in detail, and it was a valuable experience to feel the gap between rich and poor in Mumbai. It seems that you can't enter Dhoby Guard now, so you can only see it from above. If you are staying at a hotel near the airport, you will need to pay an additional transfer fee.

Humbling experience. The guide was super patient and knowledgeable on what is the norm in the area. Only downside is we went on a Sunday so many workshops were closed but the alleyways were not crowded.

Wonderfully authentic tour, seamless organisation and pick up from our hotel. We had such a fabulous guide, Bindo, who knew the area so well and just gave us an exceptional experience with felt completely unorchestrated and very honest, we loved this real look into Mumbai and the slums were fascinating, the early morning visit to the laundry areas was also brilliant as we could actually go inside and see up close during the cooler morning temperatures. A real highlight of our whole trip, thanks so much Bindo!

What a fascinating, non touristy, interactive experience an afternoon in the slum proved to be. The local guide was most informative and sensitive towards the slum dwellers who live a somewhat controversial however impressive lifestyle.
This was one of the major highlights of my trip to India and an experience I recommend to any Mumbai visitor. Obviously quite confronting on occasions however a real eye opener and provides an interesting aspect on life in India
Pickup and drop off made for a smooth experience as well.

This tour gave you a great experience and feel of the many locations we visited. Its so amazing to be inside the slums and laundry seeing the real India. Mohammed showed us all the places and more that we wanted to see. His knowledge of the history and specifics of each
place was so good. Thanks again Mohammed for showing us Mumbai. We are more than happy to recommend you to all our friends
