Ghibli Park is a public facility welcoming visitors into the world of Studio Ghibli. There are 5 areas: Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest, Mononoke Village, and Valley of Witches. This tour includes a Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass. This pass allows entry to all 5 areas. The pass also allows access to cafés, restaurants, shops, play equipment, and rides (additional charges apply). The following buildings cannot be entered: World Emporium (Hill of Youth), Satsuki and Mei's House (Dondoko Forest), The Okino Residence, Howl's Castle, and The House of Witches (Valley of Witches). The Aichi Museum of Flight is an aircraft-themed museum with exhibits including the YS-11, an aircraft developed by Japanese aviation engineer Jiro Horikoshi, the model for the main character of the movie "The Wind Rises." Maki was wonderful! Loved her friendliness and energetic personality, was super helpful in explaining the itinerary to us. Even gave us some local dishes to try, which we did! She went over and above to make it a super lovely day! Thank you so much Maki!

Our guide Mitsomi was incredible, she went above and beyond to make sure we had access to a wheelchair at each destination without any warning ahead of time. The tour itself was great for getting access and finding out just enough about the region. The best part of the tour was getting park access, lunch, and easy transportation.

A big thank you to the people at the tour company for all the work. From the first moment to the last everything was clear, comfortable, simple, and endlessly fun. Both the park & the museum of flight were beautiful. I only wish that the tour was longer. I especially loved the recommendations made by our tour guide, Mr.Hero, from how to spend our time at the museum to avoid congestions & visit all areas, to finding the secret cockpit toilet at the museum, he even recommended some Nagoya cuisines for dinner options for us to have a complete day experience after the tour ended.

We were looking forward to visiting Ghibli Park, but it ended up being the most disappointing part of our trip. The tour operator mistakenly gave us a voucher for the wrong date and did not provide the "premium" access for the exhibits' interiors. Additionally, we quickly realized there wasn't much to see. Expecting a theme park, we found the main attraction to be a shop, which is also accessible for free at Nagoya train station. After wandering between the exhibits for about an hour, we decided to cut our 8 hour tour short and return to Nagoya on our own. Given the $$$ we spent this tour stands out as one of the most egregious instances of misleading advertising we've encountered in recent years.
