Don’t waste your money. Very rushed tour. Almost a mile of walking to get from the bus to the temple. Then you are given only 45 minutes to enjoy the temple, deer and get back to the bus including the walk back. Then of course some people were very late so we got even less time at the 2nd site.

Guide did not speak English very well and did not provide the level of information that was described as part of the tour.

A very rushed trip, with a lot of walking.

Our guide was a lovely lady but she needed to provide timely concise advice on our activities and unfortunately she didn’t.

Our guide Mo Mo was fantastic! She shared a lot about the Japanese people and culture and really made the day enjoyable. The Golden Buddha was awe-inspiring and Todai-ji equally as impressive. And the best part were the deer!

Nara Park en meest relevante tempels bezocht. Tourguide Yuki is funny and organised, provides great info about Kyoto and Nara Park. We had enough time to walk around locations and explore at our pace, no rush. Highly recommended

This was a very good tour. Nara is a wonderful city--it deserves more than a half a day. But the temple and shrine we went to were both fantastic. Good tour guide, very informative and a comfortable bus. Easy check-in. And of course the bowing deer are adorable. I am so glad we went!

The Todajii Temple is an amazing sight and one not to be missed. And if you add on the chance to feed the wild deer (who don’t seem all that wild!) it made for a great afternoon.
