Our guide was very informative and pleasant. I wish there was more time added to the walking tour as it was very fast paced! Early in the morning was great for walking the streets without traffic and crowds.

This company cannot be trusted. We booked this tour on May 22, 2023 for a June 10th tour. We received an email saying that the time had changed which we replied was fine with us. Upon arrival, our names were NOT on the list! I am still in email communication with Julia Travel, who has now said that they were not responsible for our refund, but another company, Remaz Tours is. It is now June 25, 2023 and I have yet to receive any other communication from either company. They owe me $112.98. DO NOT use this company.

While we enjoyed the Picasso Museum portion of the tour, we did not feel satisfied with the tour of El Born. We were hoping to hear a lot more about Picasso’s time living there.

The tour guide, Gabby, was very good and the Born walk was pleasant. I was under the impression we would have ave an actual guide for the museum tour but it was just the audio device provided by the museum. The meeting point is a little tricky to find and was apparently wrong on the Trip Advisor site for some guests.

Our guide did provide some interesting local color during the walking tour, specifically concerning the citadel and the mammoth in the park, and got us in to see the ruins from Born. But he didn’t have anything useful to say about Picasso or the museum, didn’t get the tour started on time, and had trouble getting us in to the museum on time.

Raoul was great, he knows his stuff and makes it fun an interesting! Nice pace and great that we could stay longer in the museum after he shares his expertise. Fun time! Love the El Born area too seems well suited for Picasso!

I booked this tour for 4 people months ahead of time. A few days before the tour date, the Withlocals guide (Elvira) texted to say that she could not lead the tour but would try to find a substitute and, if she couldn't, she would provide information on getting the tickets to the museum online. I never heard back from her. Then, two days before the tour, I got an email from Withlocals saying the tour was cancelled and couldn't be rescheduled. This is not acceptable service. Do better.

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was fantastic & very knowledgeable!! He was very passionate & well educated on Picasso & the Gothic history. We were also lucky enough to catch up again that afternoon with our guide as he also did the Gaudi tour.

We did have one downside however, our original tour paperwork (from travel agent) mentioned that our tour included breakfast. But our tour voucher received after the actual booking was made & paid for did not. We didn’t realise this till we looked at the voucher the morning of the tour. So we missed breakfast & were starving by the end of the tour.
