Portaventura Caribe Aquatic Park from Barcelona Full Day Trip

Our son was allowed to choose an outing on holiday, he chose this water park. What should have been a day of great fun was actually a day of frustration. The parking spaces are very far away from the park.
Both my husband and I wear glasses. He has -7 and I have +3.5, both decent prescriptions that require glasses to be worn.
We were approached in the children's pool and told to buy a strap for our glasses for 6 euros each, so that they would not fall. We did this with the expectation that we could then enjoy ourselves.
Nothing could be further from the truth, we were not allowed to wear our glasses on the slide. Which creates scary situations on those high stairs. The lifeguards and teachers were constantly blowing their whistles, almost aggressively.
The queues for the food and drink stalls were enormous.
The prices very high.
The waiting times for the slides were absurd.
Never again this water park for us

Excellent water park, lots to do and plenty of places to sit and chill. €5 for Hotdog, €20 meal with drinks. Visit on a weekday is a must!

Spend 18€ on only on plastic glasses, oficial with refund but no refund was given,
For the slides you wait 1,5 hours for one ride in prime time, you can pay the express line another 35€/person (child starting from 0yo) so you reduce the time to 40-55minutes - whorst thing is its because of the bad management of the slides and lines by the personal. The fealing is they dont want you to ride the slides.
Personal - nobody knows nothing, dont try to ask someone anything, they dont know.

Result: my wife, me and my six years old son spended the whole day there, total cost was about 380€ and totaly NOT worth the money.

The rides were not that great for the time you had to wait in the queue, food was also terrible from the place we bought it from.

The bus to the water park was easy to find and well organised. The bus was on time and it was easy to find it at the end of the day. It was also a really nice bus

Hello everyone. So I'll start with booking. Very easy, choose available date that suits you. After payment, you Receive email with confirmation and voucher, so at reception just show your voucher with your phone. If you want go old way, just print it.

My experience with their bus. So as they said, I arrived at their office 9:15. I stuck in long queue, so I and 40 people more went to PortAventure park with 5th bus. I wasn't upset as other people, cause that's the life. But my recommendation for you as tourist going to this trip : Be at their office as early as possible. I saw one bus going out even before I checked in, so my mind was in panic, cause I was thinking there was just only one bus. They didn't told that will be couple more buses. So if you want use as much time as possible, be on first bus. Or if you late, don't worry, you will get there anyway. First bus arrived at time that you see on your voucher. Our bus will be late for about 35-50 min. Enjoy your day.
