Captain Jace and his crew member were awesome. They gave us a private tour of 7 mile beach, the Negril Reef and the cliff side of Negril including the caves. Captain Jace was very laid back and flexible even when our transportation from Montego Bay was running a bit late. He showed my husband a local spot for lunch that was awesome, and allowed us to bring the food on his boat. Captain Jace made the trip fun with his interesting stories about the hotels and properties on the coastline, and once he stopped the boat to jump in and grab a starfish to show us. That was a nice touch. He was like a Jamaican Aquaman on the snorkel part of our trip. He pointed to a lobster going into a hole on the ocean floor and showed lots of fish on the coral. He then dropped us off at Rick's Cafe to rendezvous with our driver. We will definitely use his services again on our future visits to Negril.

The crew on the catamaran was very friendly and fun. The experience we had was not the best, though - but no fault of the crew. The winds were very high that day, so the waves were a good 3' making the snorkeling experience less than desirable. For non-swimmers, this was not a day to try snorkeling. The crew kept up everyone's spirits and did their best in a less than ideal situation.

What a blast! Dream Catcher 2 picked us up on the beach at Skylark. The weather was ok at the moment, overcast a bit but nothing major. We made our way down the beach and picked up a few others, then on to the cliffs. Captain Jace pointed out and provided a bit of background about all of the different resorts, bars, and restaurants along the way. We stopped at a cove and cave area and swam a bit where we were given the option for a little snorkeling. Most stayed near the boat but my husband and I opted for the guided snorkeling tour. I forget his name, but the guide was great and pointed out several things we wouldn't have seen on our own. On our way back up the cliffs we stopped at Rick's to watch that chaos from afar, the best way, haha! Then the torrential downpour started so we had to head back a bit early. Jace is awesome but unfortunately can't control the weather. :) He and his crew, plus the fun bunch of guests on the boat with us, made the best of it and everyone had a blast...lots of music and dancing in the rain! :) We'll definitely be back for a reef snorkel with this crew next year!

There are plenty of glass-bottomed boats looking for business along 7 Mile Beach, but we would recommend you look no further than Dreamcatcher 2 and Captain Jace. Jace, along with crew-member Andrew gave us a wonderful experience as we sailed under the cliffs towards Rick's Café. They were very attentive and informative and made the trip great fun. The landing stage at Ricks café wasn't easy, but Jace handled the boat extremely well and everyone who wanted to go ashore was able to do so.
We recommend Dreamcatcher 2 to everyone!!

This was an unforgettable tour with captain Jace! We paid for the full day trip and it was worth every dollar. We looked around a lot and this trip was the most eye catching especially when comparing prices for value. When we meet up we were greeted and got an introduction to the trip as we left the small port. It was only us on the boat at first but the captain and his first mate Andrew were good company. Soon after we were offered a cold beer which we gladly took and was told to don’t be shy of taking a beer or some rum punch if we wanted to. We sailed out to a nearby reef where we were going to swim and the captain joined us as a wise guide. They equipped us with snorkeling equipment. As we swam around looking at the reef and the pretty fish the captain found starfish and sea cucumbers for us to try and hold, it was slimy but fun to try experience holding it. An hour of snorkeling flew by because of the fun we had, we were even lucky enough to see three sea turtles! Afterwards we were picking some up and they restocked on booze. Playing music and talking to the newcomers was really entertaining as we sailed towards a cave. Here we stopped to swim inside it and afterwards we arrived at Ricks Café. Music blasting away and people cliff jumping, was definitely a cool experience. As we sailed back it was planned that the last of the boat ride was to see the sunset for the final touch of a good day.

We can really recommend captain Jace and it is also possible to find him on facebook to hear about other trips or even a personalized trip.

Capt. Andrew on the Dream Catcher II expertly handled the boat (in and out of caves!) and gave a good tour of the cliff side spots in Negril. Keeno (spelling?) led us on some excellent snorkeling and dove 20+ feet to bring us some souvenirs from the ocean floor. Great guys!
Spent an hour at Rick’s and enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the way back.
We booked them for a private snorkeling outing today.
Highly recommended!

Captain Jace and lifeguard Andrew met us with their boat at the pier in Negril centre. These guys were so friendly and serviceminded and really took care of us which made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Immediately after we sat down in the boat Andrew offered to go and buy us something to drink before we left for snorkeling.

With some good music on we started off in a good pace so we had the opportunity to watch the beautiful resorts along the cliffs and also got a lot of interesting information from Andrew about some of the resorts and places along the way including some of the fishes we could already see from the glass bottom.

Our first stop was to snorkel, which was near a cave. They offered life-vests and snorkel equipment including flippers and then Andrew carefully helped us down in the water together with Jace who guided us into and outside the cave. He let us hold a sea urchin which was super cool! You could feel its spikes move a bit :) we also catched an eye to some other fishes that I didn't remember the name of.
The water was truly amazing to snorkel around in and Jace always kept a safe eye on us so we didn't get hurt or lost in any way.

Then we left for the second stop which was Rick's café. Unfortunalety, due to the big waves during the snorkeling I started to feel very ill. Therefore, we had to jump off and finish the trip already at Rick's, which felt super sad since we missed out on to watch the sunset from the boat :/ we also missed out on a third stop which would've been a lighthouse nearby Rick's but given the situation it was the best thing to do.

However, our short trip was still great!
It did even pour down rain for a short while but with Jace and Andrew it felt it was sunshine the whole time. They were very informativ and knowledgable so you could ask them anything about Negril, snorkeling and sealife in general. The communication from where we book until we met up was smooth and quick! For all our questions they always responded within a decent time so it was a professional and serious impression right from the start.

So if you want a great and relaxing boat trip with safety you should not miss out on this! We also saw that they offer different trips such as one including lobster lunch but due to that we will be leaving soon we will definitely book that one next time we are here in Negril.

Thank you so much Jace and Andrew for a great time! =D

Amazing Day!! 🥰

Booking was easy through the page, and kept in contact up to morning of arrival! And pick up directly from the beach of our resort 😎

Two couples we met on our resort joined us for the tour also! Was sooooo much fun! 🙌🏻

Price was so reasonable for the 6 of us for a private tour! With rum punch, red stripe and soft drinks! 🍹🍻 and the glass bottom boat was amazing to watch through our journeys!

Snorkelling the reef, to the stop at Booby Cay island where we watched our meals being cooked, food was amazing! 🍽 Garlic lobster, jerk chicken, rice, veg and bread! Then had a chance to snorkel around the beach area, then onto cave snorkelling, before cruising to Ricks Cafe for free time!

The a sunset tour back to our resort beach with the glass bottom being lit up for night viewing and the most amazing lights on board I’ve ever seen on boat! ✌🏻

Highly recommend and will be booking again when we return in June! Thanks so much and keep up the amazing tours! 🇯🇲💙
