cruise port of Port Klang, which is an hour and 10 minute ride from Kuala Lumpur, we were interested in sightseeing and shopping. Initially we were to be 4, and booked for that number, but two were not feeling well and stayed on the ship. Communication with the vendor was excellent prior to our disembarkation. The driver was waiting for us at the port as planned.
We visited the city and saw major landmarks including the famous petronas towers. We shopped there and then the driver took us to chinatown and the central market. Both different type of shopping but great for prices and variety of products for sale. The driver waited for us at each stop and drove us back to the ship in time for our sailing. Traffic in KL is very heavy and our driver was excellent in handling it.

He picked us up at the cruise port. He gave us a wonderful tour. He bought us tickets for the observation tower for pictures maybe 300 m up. Took us to the twin towers in the mall. he was very very good and we tipped him accordingly. Thank you via tour.

The day was very good. We were off the ship early but Man (our driver) was already waiting, so that was good. We saw a lot of KL and also Batu Caves. Unfortunately KL is 90 minutes from the port and that eats into your time. Another problem which would have been nice to know beforehand is that you need to book Petronas Towers before the day you want to go. We should have been told that. The other thing to know about when visiting the Batu Caves, is women have to where clothes that cover below the knee. If not, there is a 15 ringit sarong you can buy.
Man our driver was great. He was a joy to spend the day with. Nothing was a trouble for him, he knew everything about KL and Malaysia and he made our day. My whole family loved Man.

On our cruise we stayed in January 2023 for one day in Port Klang, where we decided to visit Kuala Lumpur - together with our chosen tour guide Rosman. This was the best decision we could do, as Rosman was a super guide! We drove with him to several spots and he told us a lot about the country, city and other things. He was all the time totally nice, in concern about our interests and professional. Except of the weather and the continous rain on this day, there is nothing we can complain about :) If we will be back in Kuala Lumpur one day, we will definitely book him again.
