Secret Spot Hot Tubs is a stone’s throw from Rotorua, hidden in the heart of New Zealand’s mountain biking mecca, the Waipa Valley. Secret Spot has 12 hot tubs that are situated along the edge of the forest, overlooking the Puarenga Stream, and each hot tub is perfect for any group of friends or family up to 6 people.
You can also explore our unique café and bar set in a forest oasis with native plantings – we have smooth manuka-roasted coffee, Good George craft beer and cider, and Mills Reef wine. Perfect spot to relax. Loved the drink delivered to our spa. Loved the cold plunge pools we could use to alternate with our hot pool. Am definitely coming back another time.

Oh wow what an experience. Relaxing in the beautiful bush and trees surrounding the individual private pools. Drinks are delivered at the push of a button... who could want more! A lovely cafe/bar on site. An experience worth repeating and one to put on your must do list.

It was amazing and relaxing but hopefully nahbe install water gauges so we can make it cooler if needed but other then that it was amazing

Welcoming, great service, lovely facilities and the private tubs and outlook was perfect. Lovely way to relax. The atmosphere from the moment you arrive at the waterfall and then throughout adds to the lovely experience.

Evening spa, nice ambiance with the lights against the red woods! Tub was good heat and can order drinks by pressing a button!

Stunning scenery 10/10
Alcohol on offer 4/10 unfortunately the 3x different alcoholic beverages in cans that we had were not that nice.
Our group of 6x arrived and it was quite busy, our spas were located next to the cold plunge pools so unfortunately it was not that relaxing as we could hear kids and adults running past and screaming.
Will visit again at night when it's hopefully not too busy.

Great activity on a cool Autumn day. Serene, scenic and soothing.
Great experience overall. Good for about an hour and a half of your day in Rotorua.
