Explore 2 UNESCO Sites, Delphi and Meteora. In this tour you can combine a visit to one of the most important archeological sites and one of the most important religious sites in Greece.

Our trip from Athens starts on the highway, driving via the towns of Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, our first stop will be at the Archaeological Site of Delphi.

After our visit to Delphi we will depart for Kalambaka (final destination for the day). This journey will take us through the traditional settlements and majestic towns of Central Greece.

A few minutes away from Kalambaka we will have the opportunity to admire the cliffs of Meteora. The complex of Meteora is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and panoramic view. Each cliff is host to one of the many Byzantine Monasteries which were built on top of the rock formations. We'll visit two of these Byzantine monasteries.

On our return, we will make a short visit at Thermopylae to take a glance at Leonida’s Monument.

Filippis Tour in Athens is very handy and located right in front of the ferry departures/arrivals, where you can find connections to all Greek islands. They helped me organising a week in Athens and the whole process was smooth and efficient. They took care of everything for me - flights, accommodation, local tours, taxi transfers all great!
I then decided to spend some more days travelling around a couple of islands and they helped me arranging that too.
Great customer service and experience, highly recommended!

The views of the monasteries were incredible! Our driver and tour guide were skilled and knowledgeable. The 3 star hotel was new and very nice. Not enough time in Delphi on the 2 day trip. Overly crowded in the monasteries.

Very organized. Expectations met as far as scenery and over all experience. Bus ride was too long but we were offered to stop every 2 hours.

Anastasia was a wonderful guide! Extremely knowledgeable, informative, and willing to answer all questions. Sunny disposition and great sense of humor. The locations of Delphi and Meteora were amazing. I was especially intrigued with the monasteries located on top of these great rock formations at Meteora - this place was the highlight of the excursion for me!

The tour guide George was very good. He is one of the highlights. With rich knowledge of Orthodox Christian history, he also went above and beyond to explain many interesting details. The hotel at Mateora was below standard. The claim of being 4 star was a lie. The room is fairly basic. There was only one glass for two of us and there was no plastic or paper cups for use. The location was away from the town. The sites were good but the long bus rides were dragging. The first day launch place was good but the second was so bad.
