Madeira Dolphin & Whale Watching Tour

We thoroughly enjoyed our boat trip. Raquel was friendly and informative. The trip as a whole was very well organised and we were made to feel safe by the crew throughout. The boat itself was a lot of fun but in addition we got to see bottleneck dolphins and Atlantic Spotted dolphins to include a baby dolphin. Could not fault and highly recommend.

What an experience this was! Our guide Filipe was both knowledgeable and very thorough with his explanations in at least 4 languages. Our skipper João was amazing and a great spotter too. Thank you Team you made this experience unforgettable.

It was a great experience! We were able to observe a fin whale from a short distance. Very impressive! Especially when it blows out its fountain. The speed of the boat certainly contributed significantly to the success of the sighting and this alone was worth the trip. Afterwards, there was a whole group of dolphins to observe. We were able to take great pictures/videos of the whale and dolphins.
Even our tour guide was very happy about the whale sighting. Incidentally, we also received a short briefing beforehand.

Very nice tour with an amazing guide. We saw spotted dolphins and bottlenose dolphins.
4 stars because our driver drove the boat a little bit too fast for my opinion and I got a little bit sick.. but if you are ready for speed (and hey it is called a speed boat after all 🤭) and seeing some amazing marine species. Recommend 5/5
Also possible to swim with dolphins.. not on this trip though because the first group had a baby and I don't know about the bottlenose group. I didn't mind, it was amazing to see the animals so close! Spotted dolphins wanted to play with our boat in the waves

We did the tour together with Philip, (I don't know if this is how his name is written) he was really kind, we chased dolphins until we even went very far out to sea, the tour lasted about 3 hours, at the end of the excursion we spotted two different species of dolphins and we had a pleasant conversation with him at the end of the excursion! I was also lucky to get a great shot, even though it's very difficult to photograph them!

Really enjoyed this trip it was a little bumpy because of the wind but we spotted 5 different species of dolphin which was so lucky, common, spotted, striped, bottlenose and the really rare Russo dolphin not sure if spelled correctly but they have really bright white on their body. Was incredible to see! The captain said he only seen them a handful of times last year! 5 out 5 just for that.

Trip on a small speed boat (capacity of approximately 14 people) from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Perfect organization, in the schedules, the explanations, and their total respect/protection of the animals at sea so as not to disturb them in their natural environment during the observation. We didn't see any dolphins (we had planned to swim with them), but we were not disappointed because we saw many sperm whales, as well as a whale! Our skipper skirted almost the entire southern coast of the island, giving us a superb view of the island of Madeira.
Too bad the explanations are only in English. But no problem observing the animals, and photo documentation provided. THANKS !

Spectacular view. We saw 2 species of dolphins but no whales... Too bad. Very friendly and very professional guide. A very pleasant moment.
