Had a great day out with Cream as our tour guide only 4 people on the tour so very friendly. Enjoyed seeing the green side of Bangkok and the floating market. My only comment would be although described as an easy ride riding on some of the narrow paths was a challenge but we made it back safe.

What a great experience! Michiel was a great guide and showed us the real Bangkok, the back streets and alleys, country roads, rural wetlands, and a floating market with great food and snacks! Highly recommend this tour!

The last day of my business trip in Bangkok, I selected this bike tour.
The local market was exactly DEEP Bangkok where lots of fishes, fruits and animals were displayed.
Then we went to a small forest via a boat. We biked several narrow paths there.
I highly recommend this tour if you want to see different Bangkok.

This is my first cycling tour and the company made me feel very comfortable. Making much efforts to check on my comfort with the pace, the bicycle and ensuring we are hydrated! This experience on bicycle at the country side, wet markets and boat ride is simply amazing! Something my 2 feet can never achieve.

A fabulous day exploring the quiet Bangkok countryside (yes, it really does exist!). We sampled food at the market and had a great lunch. The biking was flat and not at all strenuous even on a hot day and the scenery was so different from what you might expect in Bangkok. Michiel was the perfect guide - friendly and knowledgeable and he really made our day. Thoroughly recommended as a great experience for cyclists of all abilities.

Was the only person on the tour which was awesome as we covered by far more territory as with larger groups.
This is not a tour for beginners as the concrete platforms are not wider than apprx. 3ft+, some without reeling.
Don't forget to wear a helmet, I crashed into the corner of a wooden roof which was overhanging into the platform and had me sailing.
The market is a great local experience, with super explanation of the different produce, but its not a floating market. As I had no opportunity to exchange funds I paid with US $ and the owner took advantage of the exchange rate. As all over the world the guides are receiving a very basic wage and live of the tips.

We were only in Bangkok for one day and wanted to see as much of the "real" Bangkok as possible. We also wanted to keep our boys (10 and 12) engaged and popular tourist sights tend to leave them frustrated by queues and crowds. Having done a lot of research on line and with friends who had been, a five/six hour bike tour came up tops of the recommendations and it really was fabulous.
I approached ABC Biking since the reviews were particularly good and Michiel, the owner, responded promptly to all of my queries and put my mind at rest.
I was concerned how we would find the location of the bike company so requested a transfer which was a great idea since we were jaded by our flight. This was for an extra fee but being taken to the right place and picked up at the end of a long cycle ride took the "thinking factor' out of it all and worked for us.
Our guide, Aon, was the loveliest lady. She adjusted all the (well maintained) bikes to fit us properly, checked we were capable, supplied water and helmets and off we went. The turning into the first road was a little hairy but we were quickly in the quieter back streets. Although we did cycle down some more very busy roads and across one particularly busy interchange, we always felt safe.
We saw soooo much! A massive local market, homes, street stalls, busy roads, a lovely temple and waterways. Then we crossed the river to the green island which is so tranquil after the hubbub of Bangkok. It's hard to think that it is within touching distance of the city.
On the green island, we cycled along narrow trails and boardwalks. Cars were few and far between. We saw numerous small holdings where Aon identified plants, trees and herbs for us before we visited to another market. Here, Aon supplied us with different types of street food to try and both boys had a go at frying quails eggs. This market was also for the locals, not the tourists, and the food was, mostly, delicious. The day ended with a meal at a Thai cafe before catching the boat back across the water and back through a few more streets to return to the bike centre.
Throughout the tour, Aon explained to us about Thai culture and how the Thai's live and work which was fascinating.
We had a brilliant day, covering so much in a short time, and I cannot recommend ABC Biking and this way of seeing Bangkok enough to anyone who is able to ride a bike.

We spent a great day with Eddy on the bike. He knows the best routes, explains everything you want to know, takes the time for your questions. The trip was a nice combination of city (market), nature (farm country) and culture (temple).

Very nice easy cycle through some very interesting lanes and alleyways.
First stop was Bangkok’s biggest produce market. Wow, this was an eye opener. This is not your tourist trinket market. It sold all fruit, meat and veg with the odd stall providing some cooked delights. Our guide took pride in purchasing some local delights for us to try including some fruits that are not available in other regions.
The trip to the island by long boat is unfortunately very short as I love Thai long boats for their speed and agility despite their size.
On the island we had all types of roads and paths. The market was buzzing with local and tourists alike. Again the range of eats is incredible with our guide having us taste some of the more unusual eats that proved to be fantastic.
I loved the pace of the ride. I was also advised to take a “city” bike despite being an accomplished bike rider. This proved to be good advice as the number of time s you dismount to take in a quick picture or see something unusual, having a “city” bike made it a pleasure.
I look forward to going back again when next in BKK.
